Robert Duncan is a four-time Emmy nominated television and film composer known for his work on 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' (UPN), 'Castle' (ABC), 'The Unit' (CBS), 'Last Resort' (ABC), Whispers and 'Terriers' (FX). Born and raised in Toronto, Robert attended a performing arts school and earned a bachelor's degree in music at York University. After honing his craft under the tutelage of two of Canada's top television composers, Robert moved to Los Angeles to participate in the ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop. Soon thereafter he began landing his own television scoring assignments. In 2006 he moved his studio and instrument collection into a historical rock 'n' roll facility formerly known as Devonshire Sound. In addition to the Emmy nominations, he is the recipient of a Hollywood Music in Media award and six ASCAP awards. He is represented by the Gorfaine/ Schwartz Agency.
