“NCIS” favorite Cote de Pablo recently told TV Insider that she turned down the offer to use an intimacy coordinator with co-star Michael Weatherly on their upcoming franchise sequel series “NCIS: Tony & Ziva,” which debuts in September on Paramount+. The two actors were series regulars together on CBS’ flagship “NCIS” series for 12 seasons.

“Did not need one,” de Pablo said when asked about intimacy coordinators. “They asked me first, I think because I’m a female and blah, blah, blah, and I said, ‘I don’t need one. Thank you for offering.'”

“Michael and I have a lot of trust with each other and are great friends,” she added. “So, when it comes to shooting these things we don’t want to be micromanaged. We like to explore it, and we trust each other enough that we allow that to happen.”

Whedon himself was very unhappy with the changes that were made to his original script, and was thrilled at the chance to make it what he had originally envisioned.

"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" is famous for its blend of comedy and drama, silly rubber monster suits, and '90s dance sequences. But it's perhaps most famous of all for its villains. That's not just because they're super memorable, but also because of how the use of seasonal villains on "Buffy" completely changed the way most serialized TV was written. That format will surely continue in the recently reported "Buffy" sequel series at Hulu.

The concept of the "Big Bad" of a season overshadowing all the smaller "monster of the week" episodes and tying together a cohesive story with a climactic finale every year basically came from "Buffy." Cinespia is an organization that screens classic films at iconic locations, and every year they host a slumber part with a double feature. As part of its summer 2024 season, Cinespia invited Kirsten Dunst fans to Hollywood Forever Cemetery to get snuggly and see her two extremely different movies from 2000, Bring It On and The Virgin Suicides. “Oh my god, you guys. This is the craziest thing I’ve ever witnessed in my life,” she continued. “I am so overwhelmed. My friends and family are here, I’m going to watch with you guys. I haven’t seen any of these movies since I was a teen myself, with an audience. I’m so honored.”

The Academy Award nominee surprised fans as she appeared at Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Saturday for Cinespia‘s ‘Kirsten Dunst Slumber Party’, celebrating the 25th anniversaries of Bring It On and The Virgin Suicides.
