Biography

Ricardo Dávila (Monterrey, México 1974) Mexican producer, director, actor and writer. He starts his artistic career in 1992, as a musician and poet, publishing his first book: "El Reflejo de un Momento" in 1996. Since 2007 and up to this date, he writes and directs his own productions. But it was until 2010, during his work: "El Sueño de Angela Froid. La Trilogía", that he begins to use and polish the surreal tone that he will come to use in many of his future projects. During this same year, he was awarded best actor by Fotogramas magazine's online casting. He was also cast in important movie productions such as: "No Habrá Paz Para los Malvados", movie by Enrique Urbrizu, winner of 6 goyas. Together with Alvaro Collar, created the web series: "Madrid DF", which is part of "El Sótano de Antea 3" series. 2011 brought Ricardo new productions, and between them, his sixth and seventh shorts: "Le Llamarán Ian Bulnes" and "El Discurso del Señor Kite". In March, 2016 it releases its first movie "Los Encantados" in its own web platform. At present It is preparing its second movie that will direct along with the actress Angela Boj and it will be released along with the book "La brujula equivocada".
