Kelsey Grammer has pledged his love for fourth wife Kayte Walsh in a very permanent way!

The 57-year-old "Boss" star has inked his wife's name above his hip. The actor and his wife stopped off at Chicago's Insight Studios over the weekend where he got his first tattoo.

Tattoo artist James Eastwood - who emblazoned "Katye" above the actor's waistline - told the Chicago Sun-Times that he wanted "something small because it was his first one."

The tattoo reportedly cost the actor $60 - the cheapest ink the shop offers.

Kelsey Grammer is so smitten with his wife of 14 months, Kayte Walsh, that he braved the tattoo needle for the first time on Saturday, getting her first name emblazoned on his waistline, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. With Walsh by his side, the Boss star, 57, looked over some designs at Chicago's Insight Studios and got the tattoo in blue ink, with letters about half an inch tall, says tattoo artist James Eastwood, who did the honors. Grammer asked for "something small because it was his first one," says Eastwood, 23. "He's the only famous person I've ever tattooed.

Nothing says forever like a hip tattoo, at least Kelsey Grammer certainly hopes so.

The 57-year-old star made his way into a Chicago-area tattoo parlor, Insight Studios, over the weekend to write love, or his wife's name, on his hip. The "Boss" star requested tattoo artist James Eastwood ink his fourth wife, Kayte Walsh's, first name on the right side of his waistline, according to The Chicago Sun-Times.

Grammer and Walsh entered the shop and after the young lady at the front desk hilariously requested ID from the "Frasier" star -- apparently she didn't recognize the well known actor -- shop owner Bob Jones told the local news they got down to business. “He was pretty cool about it,” Jones dished. “He said it was his first tattoo and he did some research and said, ‘You guys seemed to be the best place to go.’”
