‘Towards Zero’ Recap & Ending Explained: Who Killed Lady Tressilian And Treves? And Why?

Directed by Sam Yates, Towards Zero is based on the novel written by Agatha Christie, where a police officer named Leach tries to solve a case of double murder. We saw that in a classic whodunit manner, Lady Tressilian, the owner of the Gull’s Point Castle, was murdered in the most brutal way, and inspector Leach found out that it was the doing of an insider since all the doors and the windows were locked and there were no signs of forced entry. So, the relatives of Lady Tressilian, along with her entire staff, became suspects in the murder case. Before Inspector Leach could make any discoveries, the family lawyer, Mr. Treves was also found dead the next day, and it thickened the mystery even more. So, let’s find out who was behind the double murder and what their intentions were behind committing the crime.

‘The Night Manager,’ ‘Doctor Who’ and 26 More BBC Shows Airing in 2025

As always, it’ll be a busy year for the BBC. The corporation has released a partial TV slate for 2025.

A list of 28 shows — some new, and some more familiar — premiering next year are detailed below, including the return of Tom Hiddleston in The Night Manager, Ncuti Gatwa in the 15th series of Doctor Who, an Austen-themed period piece with Keeley Hawes and Rose Leslie and the season two of Sas Rogue Heroes following season one’s cliffhanger ending.

A program on the Pan Am flight bombing in Lockerbie, Scotland, as well as a sparkling new Agatha Christie adaptation and the latest material from BAFTA-winning Sally Wainwright, are also included.

When, in his Iliad, Homer described love as “Magic to make the sanest man go mad” he probably didn’t think that the line would be used some 3000 years later to provide the title of the best episode of Star Trek: Discovery yet. Frankly, such limited thinking makes me wonder just how imaginative he really was. But whether he wants the honour or not, he’s got it, because this was Star Trek at its absolute prime vintage best. Move over Tng: Discovery has hit its stride and it’s coming for your space-crown.
