Gh Alum Johnny Wactor’s Final Project Debuts – Maurice Benard Attends Screening
Image
As General Hospital (Gh) fans continue to mourn the loss of Johnny Wactor (ex-Brando Corbin), who tragically lost his life just over a year ago, the actor’s last project debuted this week.

The movie, “Ciao, Mama”, was shown during an indie film festival in California, ‘Dances with Films’ at Hollywood’s Tcl Chinese Theatre. Among those in attendance was Gh star Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos).

More About ‘Ciao, Momma’

Gh spoilers remind fans that Benard played Wactor’s onscreen cousin, as Sonny’s father, Mike Corbin (Max Gail) was the brother of Brando’s mom, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs).

Back to “Ciao, Mamma”, the film follows Tony Esposito (played by Micah Joe Parker), who returns to his hometown of Long Island, NY, for his beloved mom’s funeral.

Before her passing, she made everyone in the family promise that they would not tell him she had cancer, as he was chasing his dreams.

Scarlett Wactor, the mother of slain “General Hospital” star Johnny Wactor (Brando Corbin), is requesting that a court grant an order instructing Apple to provide her with access to the late actor’s devices, including his desktop, laptop and iPhone.

According to Us Weekly, during a hearing on Friday, June 20, Wactor is seeking access to the devices so that she can “determine if her late son’s computer and phone contain any financial information or financial assets.” The information is needed so that she can submit a final distribution report as part of her role as administrator of her son’s estate.

After initially submitting a request to Apple, Wactor says she was told by the tech giant they would not comply without a court order, one that directly states, “Apple is ordered by the court to assist in the recovery of [Johnny’s] personal data from their accounts, which may contain third-party,...

Top 10 Musicals That Should Be Made Into Movies
There are two upcoming movie musicals that, for a long time, I've wanted to make into motion pictures, should someone with money be willing to give me the funds to make them -- Into The Woods and The Last 5 Years. I'm both nervous and excited to see how directors Rob Marshall and Richard Lagravenese, respectfully, have interpreted the material I hold so close to my heart. I am especially nervous for Into The Woods, given Marshall's less than impressive track record. If someone is going to screw up something I cherish, it should be me. Of course, there are far more than two musicals I have a deep connection to. Some have already been made into films, like Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and Les Miserables, but there is a vast collection of musicals I have thought could make fantastic films, but have never been made.
