Lesley was born in London UK, lived in Sydney Australia, and spent much of her professional life based in Vancouver, working in theatres across Canada. She's been performing consistently in film, tv and on stage since 1983. She's accrued over 80 onscreen credits and over 150 stage credits. As well as performing, Lesley's also a produced playwright (Camera Obscura (hungry ghosts), an understanding of brown + The Relationship Book of the Dead), theatre director, dramaturg/story editor, Live artist, and acting tutor at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) and Identity School of Acting in London.
She seems to fit well in a 'sci-fi' world; she's appeared twice on The Outer Limits, as well as on Stargate, Millennium, Dead Zone, Twilight Zone, V, Arrow and most recently on Doctor Who. She appeared 4 times on The X Files, including the pilot where she was the first character 'Scully' spoke to. She was the voice of Gaia on the smash hit video game Horizon: Zero Dawn as well as Nokama on Bionicl: Mask of Light. Among other things, she's currently playing a lead in a new fantasy adventure feature, directed by Chris Bouchard and currently shooting in Paris and due out in 2020. Lesley is based in London.
