Judith Evelyn(1909-1967)

She played Mrs. Manningham, the terrified wife, opposite Vincent Price, in the smash hit 1941 Broadway production of "Angel Street". ("Angel Street" was the U.S. title for Patrick Hamilton's "Gaslight", which was filmed in England in 1939 with Anton Walbrook and Diana Wynyard [Angel Street (1940)], and in 1944 in the U.S. by M-G-M, with Charles Boyer and Ingrid Bergman [Gaslight (1944)]. Both films were entitled "Gaslight".)
