Image
An actress has spoken in support of Noel Clarke as part of the libel trial brought by the UK actor and filmmaker against Guardian News and Media (Gnm).

Legacy review – salty fun in schoolkids' nightclub caper
Slo-mo twerking, lots of naked ladies and plenty of sniggering about sex spice up this otherwise anodyne, Hollyoaks-style comedy

If nothing else, this broad comedy about a bunch of schoolkids who decide to start their own nightclub knows what its target demographic likes, and delivers: teen camaraderie, underdog victories, bleep-bleep dance music backing slo-mo shots of people twerking, lots of naked ladies and sniggering, sweary sex humour. Take out the last few, 15-certificate elements and it’s more anodyne than an average episode of Hollyoaks since nobody takes any drugs and the main cast are all, deep down, really nice kids. Noel Clarke, who should bring in a following via his grittier Kidulthood franchise, is listed as a producer, but Marc Small and Davie Fairbanks actually hold the directing reins. They imbue the proceedings with a sense of salty, Inbetweeners-style fun but have mixed success with their mostly overacting young leads.

Storage 24 and Seeing Characters as They Are: A Movie Review
Director: Johannes Roberts. Writers: Noel Clarke, Davie Fairbanks and Marc Small. Cast: Noel Clarke, Colin O'Donoghue, Antonia Campbell-Hughes, Laura Haddock, Jamie Thomas King, Alex Price, Ned Dennehy, Geoff Bell, Ruth Gemmell, Davie Fairbanks, and Amy Pemberton. Storage 24 is a small sci-fi thriller? from the United Kingdom. Written partially by Noel Clarke of Kidulthood, this film never steps out of a predictable framework. Perhaps, the one shooting location stops this film from finding true heights. Whatever the case, eighty minutes of cat and mouse interchange is not enough to recommend Storage 24 to many. Noel Clarke writes an interesting sub-plot involving infidelity, but he also writes his own character, Charlie, much like a shining white knight. The film and this character are hard to tolerate. Creature feature film fans will be able to tell how this film will play out. An alien crash lands next to a storage facility. Once on the ground,...

Film Shots: Storage 24, We Are the Night, and My Ex
Storage 24 (2012) Prolific British writer, director, actor and more Noel Clarke returns in his 4th film of 2012, science fiction horror thriller “Storage 24”, directed by Johannes Roberts, helmer of a variety of other home grown shriekers including “F”, “Forest of the Damned” and “Hellbreeder”. Clarke (soon to be seen in the forthcoming “Star Trek into Darkness”) headlines and also co-wrote the film with supporting cast member Davie Fairbanks, their second collaboration of the year along with the utterly dire and merit-free wedding ‘comedy’ “The Knot”. Thankfully, the film is a very different and much more entertaining proposition indeed, and following a successful run in domestic cinemas now lands on region 2 Blu Ray and DVD through Universal, coming with a reasonable clutch of special features including docs on the production and effects, plus video cast video diaries for those who care. Clarke stars as Charlie, a rather dull and depressed young...

“Soulmates Alexandra (Talulah Riley) and Jeremy (Matthew McNulty) are getting married. At least that’s the plan. Unfortunately for them, nonchalant best man Peter (Noel Clarke), bridesmaid Sarah (Mena Suvari) and an army of naysayers haven’t heard they’re meant to be together. Can missing bridesmaids, crashed cars, a trip to A&E, and a delivery of pigs testicles stand in the way of true love?”

Clarke has reteamed with Davie Fairbanks (Storage 24) and Geoff Carino (Licks) for the script,...

Storage 24 Trailer Dusted Off
One thing's for sure - they never found anything like this in the hit TV series "Storage Wars" although we're fairly certain that if they did, Darrell Sheets would proclaim it to be a thirty dollar bill all day and then eventually get outbid by Dave Hester. Yup!

In any event, Variety reports that London-based international sales agent Independent has closed multiple deals on helmer Johannes Roberts' horror sci-fi Storage 24.

The film, which stars Noel Clarke, Antonia Campbell-Hughes, and Laura Haddock, sold to Klockworx in Japan, Focus & Co. in South Korea, Ipa in Thailand and Vietnam, Lark Films in Hong Kong, Bier Film in Turkey, and Weg in India.

The film pre-sold before Cannes to Universal for the U.K., Australia, New Zealand, German-speaking Europe, Scandinavia and Benelux. The story, written by Clarke, Davie Fairbanks and Marc Small, is set in London after a military cargo plane has crashed,...

First Trailer Unlocked for Noel Clarke Penned Brit Horror Storage 24
Universal and Unstoppable Entertainment have revealed the first look trailer for the new Johannes Roberts ('F') helmed Brit sci-fi horror 'Storage 24'. The movie penned by writer and star Noel Clarke ('Kidulthood', 'Doghouse') is set in a storage building when a military cargo plane crashes and unleashes its classified contents into London. The trailer, which echoes elements of Brit comedy horror 'Attack the Block', looks pretty good and ensures that is doesn't reveal too much about the 'creatures' that the surviving gang are attempting to escape. 'Storage 24' also stars Colin O'Donoghue, Antonia Campbell-Hughes, Laura Haddock -below ('The Inbetweeners Movie'), Jamie Thomas King, Alex Price, Ned Dennehy, Geoff Bell, Ruth Gemmell, Davie Fairbanks and Amy Pemberton. Noel Clarke And Laura Haddock To Enter Storage 24 In The UK Next June
Brit director Johannes Roberts responsible for after school-based thriller 'F' is hard at work on the post-production of his new sci-fi horror 'Storage 24'. The new flick was penned by its star Noel Clarke ('Kidulthood', '4.3.2.1') and is set to hit UK theatres next June. Personally I don't really rate Clarke as an actor but he's a definite up and coming talent when it comes to both writing and directing. Colin O'Donoghue, Antonia Campbell-Hughes, the sexy Laura Haddock -below ('The Inbetweeners Movie'), Jamie Thomas King, Alex Price, Ned Dennehy, Geoff Bell, Ruth Gemmell, Davie Fairbanks and Amy Pemberton all co-star.
