Kaci M. Fannin is a native of Houston, Texas who, in addition to her
work as an actor, is an Independent filmmaker, hailing from the
University of Texas @ Austin film school. Kaci made her film acting
debut as the female lead in the PBS production of "My Own Television"
(MOTV) for the Fall TV Family Series (1994) and can be seen in
Soulmates, directed by Duane Clark and independent films "God's
Forgotten House", "Gestation" and the soon to premiere "God's Country".
She has enjoyed success on television, in industrials and as voice-over
talent commercially.
In March of 2003,Kaci left Los Angeles and relocated to New York where she's had the opportunity to perform at The Cherry Lane, Henry Street Settlement, The Producer's Club and The Billie Holiday Theatre, to name a few. Regionally she has also performed at The Kitchen Theatre (Ithaca, NY), The Fulton Opera House (Lancaster, PA)and the renown Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia, PA where she currently resides.
As a filmmaker, Kaci is currently(2009)producing her own original animation project and associate producing on the documentary "Drama Mamas!", which looks at African-American female directors and how that have helped to shape the landscape of American theatre.
