2gether star Noah Bastian has come out about his drug addiction and now, he's making a serious effort to change.

Bastian played "The Shy One," Chad Linus, in 2gether, the fake boy band that MTV formed in the early 2000s known for tunes like "U+Me=Calculus" and "Say It (Don't Spray It)." But in the past few years, Bastian's life has taken a turn for the worse.

The singer has been battling a serious meth addiction, and took to Facebook to open up about his struggle. (The post as since been deleted.)

As TMZ previously reported, the band is filming the show themselves and will package it for MTV -- who will then decide whether or not it will air on the network.Congrats on the reunion guys!

With both the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block reuniting within the past year (yet no reunion in sight for 'N Sync), it was only a matter of time before fake boy bands would want to get in on the action.

The four remaining members of 2gether, the spoof band created by MTV in 2000 to poke fun at the late '90s teen girl phenomenon, are trying to get their fake-but-kinda-real band back in action.

On Tuesday, May 11, Evan Farmer and Laura Bell Bundy, through an exclusive People video, have announced the contenders in the top five categories at 2010 Cmt Music Awards. Among the contenders are Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift who have landed three nods each at the upcoming event.
