This super hit is song is well-known for its thought provoking lyrics but it is a tragedy that its brilliant lyricist Nida Fazli did not receive the kind of accolades that he truly deserved despite penning many hits songs like 'Aa bhi jaa....' (Sur), 'Tu Is Tarah Se Meri Zindagi Mein'(Aap To Aise Na The), 'Hosh Waalon Ko Khabar Kya'....(Sarfarosh).

Speaking about the song 'Kabhi Kisi Ko Mukammal Jahan Nahi Milta'... Nida Fazli in an interview said, "Actually the song is a poem from a collection of my book. Incidentally, two renowned filmmakers Sibte Hassan Rizvi and Yash Chopra happened to read it and approached me to use it in their films."

Mumbai, Nov 12: Write-ups suggesting that actor Randeep Hooda, once a very close friend of actress Neetu Chandra, showed up at the Prithvi Theatres to witness her stage debut as "Umrao Jaan" for old times' sake, has her fuming.

"This isn't what I want to be known for. I don't want my moment of glory to be diluted by talks about whom I am seeing or whom I am broken up with," said the actress of films like "Traffic Signal" and "Garam Masala".

"My stage debut doesn't need such props. There were so many senior theatre artistes present for my stage debut like Benjamin Gilani, Kunal Kapoor, Om Puri, Nida Fazli, Javed Siddiqui.

As India celebrated its 64th year as a Republic, the nation honoured some of its leading talents with the Padma awards. President Pranab Mukherjee approved the names of the 108 awardees, which includes four Padma Vibhushan, 24 Padma Bhushan and 80 Padma Shri. Leading the Bollywood brigade at the awards was late Rajesh Khanna who was awarded the Padma Bhushan. Following him were the likes of Sridevi who made a stunning comeback to films with English Vinglish, 62-year-old Nana Patekar, who began his career in 1978 with the movie Gaman, carved a niche for himself in the Hindi films with the 1989 film Parinda for which he even won a National Award and the celebrated filmmaker Ramesh Sippy. Times Music’s new album “Baatein” which is also debut album for singer Ravi Tripathi (Indian Idol 2 fame) was released on 24th March, 2009, at Suresh Wadkar’s Ajivasan Auditorium by hands of well known singer Sonu Nigam where many well known personalities of Bollywood and entire media was present.
