The Max Original animated series Clone High debuts with two episodes Tuesday, May 23 on Max, with two new episodes debuting each Thursday starting June 1 leading up to the final two episodes on June 22.

Logline: A modern refresh of the hit series of the same name, Clone High follows a high school for clones of the greatest minds in history. Twenty years after the original experiment was put on ice, Joan, JFK, Abe, and Cleo have been thawed out to resume school with their new clone classmates – all while navigating a new set of cultural norms and overly dramatic teen relationships.

Phil Lord and Chris Miller, directors of hits like "21 Jump Street" as well as the producers of "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse," are at the top of the food chain in Hollywood these days -- but it wasn't always that way. Earlier on in their careers, when they were green, they made a little animated show called "Clone High" for MTV that, despite gaining critical acclaim and a loving audience, lasted just one season. Now though, the show is coming back on HBO Max, and we've got a brand new teaser trailer for the revival of this cult classic.

Lord and Miller have put their powers to use to bring back their beloved series, with original voice actors Will Forte and Nicole Sullivan returning as well. Lord is also back as Scudworth, Miller as JFK and Mr. B, Christa Miller as Candide Sampson, Donald Faison as George Washington Carver, and Judah Miller as Scangrade.

Clone High, HBO Max’s upcoming revival of the classic MTV series from Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Bill Lawrence, will premiere this spring, it was revealed during the show’s panel at WonderCon.

Returning voice cast includes Will Forte reprising his role as Abe; Nicole Sullivan as Joan; Lord as Scudworth; Chris Miller as JFK and Mr. B; Christa Miller voicing a new character, Candide Sampson; Donald Faison back as George Washington Carver; and Judah Miller as Scangrade.

Dubbed a “modern refresh” of the 2002 animated series, the followup is set at a high school for clones of historical figures. After a high school that was secretly being run as an elaborate military experiment to clone the greatest minds in history was put on ice, the clones have been thawed out 20 years later to resume the experiment with new clone classmates – all while navigating a new set of cultural norms and overly dramatic teen relationships.

Rob McElhenney, Glenn Howerton, and Charlie Day have never been afraid to get a little meta with “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.” From “The Gang Recycles Their Trash” (in which plot points from previous episodes were repurposed) to “The Gang Misses the Boat” (a Season 10 episode where the people of Paddy’s Pub decide they’ve drifted too far from their roots), episodes crop up where the “It’s Always Sunny” gang is doing more than comment on society: They’re talking about themselves.

What could come across as unappealingly egocentric is instead charmingly apt considering “Sunny” is all about selfish assholes, and the topic of this week’s episode channels such narcissistic villainy toward a new purpose: highlighting the difference between half-hour comedies and manipulative sitcoms. Similar to the brilliant deconstruction of classic sitcom structuring in “The Gang Tries Desperately to Win an Award” (the lighting! the romantic pairings!

Last year, they took Orlando by storm. In 2015, they’re off to Sin City. They’re the Hotwives, and as of August 18th, they have returned to Hulu for their second season.

Hotwives, which parodies the Real Housewives TV franchise, began in 2014 with The Hotwives of Orlando, which provided plenty of laughs and ultimately secured multiple nominations for the upcoming Streamy Awards. Season two is titled The Hotwives of Las Vegas, but while it may have a new setting, the show’s cast remains most intact. Casey Wilson, for example, portrays a trashy Southern belle named Jenfer Beudon after playing a “trophy wife” named Tawny St. John in season one. Series creators Dannah Phirman and Danielle Schneider also show up as two of the seven hotwives.

The show that was perhaps Hulu's strongest original series of 2014 will return for another run. The Hotwives of Orlando, which makes fun of Bravo's Real Housewives franchise, will come back for a second season that will take place in Las Vegas.

Hotwives is one of three reality TV parodies produced by Paramount Digital Entertainment, which also brought Burning Love to Yahoo and Beef to on-demand platforms. Hulu's seven-episode series "The Hotwives of Orlando" lampoons Bravo's "Real Housewives" franchises in exactly the right ways: The catchphrases, the melodrama, the sham marriages, and the frightening fights are all parodied with very close attention to detail. Creators Dannah Phirman and Danielle Schneider have a cast of game ladies in their Florida-set series, including Schneider herself (who plays Shauna Maducci, the "bankrupt overspender"), "Happy Endings"/"SNL" vet Casey Wilson as trophy wife Tawny St. John, Tymberlee Hill as Phenomenon "Phe Phe" Reed, Andrea Savage as cougar Veronica Von Vandervon, Angela Kinsey of "The Office" as religious zealot Crystal Simmons, and "30 Rock" vet Kristen Schaal as drug-addled former child star Amanda Simmons.  HitFix caught a few minutes to interview Wilson, Hill, Savage, Schneider, and Phirman. Hulu has its Burning Love. The premium online video platform has released The Hotwives of Orlando, a seven-episode series that smartly pokes fun at Bravo's Real Housewives series. Much like Burning Love (which won Yahoo plenty of critical acclaim upon its release in 2012), The Hotwives of Orlando is a loving parody of its source material. Screaming is going streaming. “The Hotwives of Orlando,” a full parody season of Bravo's money-machine comes to Hulu on July 15. On Tuesday night, the cast, crew, producers, Paramount Digital Entertainment, and Hulu celebrated with a double-episode premiere at the Sherry Lansing Theatre on the Paramount Lot. The Hotwives of Orlando, that is. Paramount Digital Entertainment, the studio behind Burning Love, and Hulu are teaming up to produce the parody series starring Casey Wilson and Angela Kinsey. Comedian Paul Scheer likes to see himself as the Andy Cohen of it all, producing for Paramount with Jonathan Stern and even appearing on the show in a reunion episode. It’s no surprise to anyone who knows Scheer, who admits to being a diehard Housewife fan and watching the Bravo shows religiously with his wife.

Jeffrey Tambor, the egocentric George Bluth Sr. on Arrested, recently took part in a staged reading at the Upright Citizens Brigade theatre in Los Angeles. He performed material from the animated PBS series Word Girl alongside Dannah Feinglass and Chris Parnell.

Regarding the much-discussed Arrested movie, the actor told the Daily News that it's definitely happening and that Cera will be in it. Tambor said, "If I have to call him up and say, 'Get on set right now, young man,' he'll be there... The movie is going to happen this year, and Michael Cera is on board. Trust me."
