Pamela Field(I)

Pamela Field appeared as a soprano with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company
from 1972 until 1975. She returned to the company as a special guest
artiste in the 1981/82 season. Her featured roles with the company
were: Aline in "The Sorcerer" Josephine in "HMS Pinafore" Ella in
"Patience" Patience in "Patience" Celia in "Iolanthe" Phyllis in
"Iolanthe" Elsie in "The Yeomen of the Guard" Fiametta in "The
Gondoliers" Gianetta in "The Gondoliers" Zara in "Utopia Ltd." Princess
of Monte Carlo in "The Grand Duke" Pamela recorded the following roles
with Decca for the D'Oyly Carte: Phyllis; Gianetta; Zara. Since 1982,
Pamela has been busy as a brodcaster and singer appearing in concerts
worldwide.
