    She preferred to be addressed by her middle name Lynn, however after joining the 'The Mickey Mouse Club' in 1957 she was asked by producers to use an alternate name to avoid confusion on set with another Mouseketeer, Lynn Ready. She was known as Bonnie from that point on.
