- Born in Evesham Maternity Hospital. At the time, his parents were renting a cottage locally whilst his father, actor Eric Flynn, was appearing at the Royal Shakespeare Company's 1961 season. Whilst Daniel was still a baby, Eric transferred to the Aldwych Theater in London, and the family moved to Bromley, in South-East London, where he was raised.
