  • A character actor who didn't usually appear in musicals, Ford originated the role of John Hancock in the Broadway production of 1776 and later played John Dickinson. Other notable New York stage credits included A MAN FOR ALL SEASONS on Broadway and Harold Pinter's THE TEA PARTY.
