General Hospital (Gh) spoilers indicate that Lucky Spencer will look a tad different in the days to come, as starting Tuesday, February 18, actor Guy Wilson will be temporarily recast in the role, taking over for Jonathan Jackson. More details, below.

Hope is in the design office, lost in thought and beaming as she recalls Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) singing her praises.

Her mother enters and comments on how it’s been a while since she’s seen her smile at work; they discuss the immense pressure Hope is facing.

Brooke confesses that she has shared everything with Deacon, and the two women reflect on how wonderful it is to have Carter’s enthusiastic support.

Brooke reassures Hope that they will protect the line at all costs; she noticed the advertisement Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) created for her and praised his excellent work.

Phoebe has become a hot topic on The Bold and the Beautiful. Taylor and Ridge previously opened up about missing their late daughter. The psychiatrist on the go is struggling with broken heart syndrome. It might not be because of Ridge. Taylor hasn’t moved on from losing her daughter.

What Happened to Phoebe?

Let’s catch up on some brief history. Phoebe (MacKenzie Mauzy) tragically passed away in 2008 in a car accident. It was marked as one of the most painful moments in the daytime history. The crash occurred after Phoebe argued with Rick Forrester (Kyle Lowder).

She grabbed the steering wheel while he was driving. Rick lost control of the vehicle, causing an accident. Unfortunately, Phoebe was the victim of that crash. Her death forever changed the Forrester family. It became a major plot on the CBS show.

The fatal accident also caused tension between Rick and the Forrester family.

All eyes are turning to Beyond the Gates (formerly known as The Gates) now that the casting announcements have started. Eagerly awaiting soap lovers have gotten a taste of what to expect thanks to reported character descriptions prior to the official rollout. It's important to note that those may or may not stick and the names of the characters likely won't either but it's exciting nonetheless.

Jackson exited Gh in 1999, and actor Jacob Young (Bold and the Beautiful’s ex-Rick Forrester) was recast into the role from 2000 to 2003.

This is definitely not going to come as a surprise since this person is barely in the current storyline. The person we're talking about is Rick Forrester portrayer Jacob Young. Apparently, he's no longer on contract with the show. He hasn't officially quit yet, but he's definitely looking to pursue other gigs and opportunities. Jacob recently hit up his official Twitter account back on April 19, 2018 to address this very issue. Apparently, there had been some rumors flying around that he was off contract with The Bold and The Beautiful. He confirmed that the rumors were true by writing: "#Rt I want to take a moment to address the rumors that I'm currently off contract.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” star Jacob Young has moved from contract status at the CBS soap to a recurring role.

“I had been talking with my management and my team about this for awhile, and it’s almost as if I kind of manifested it maybe because it felt like it was running its course,” Young tells Variety exclusively about his role as Rick Forrester.

Young shares that the character is “incredibly important” to him, as well as the show, so while he is no longer with the show full time, he is glad to be able to still pop up “here and there.”

“I’m very grateful for Brad Bell and ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ — for their vision and having faith in me as an actor and in giving me all of the story that they have over the years,” Young says.

The uncertainty over which "All My Children" stars plan to make the transition with the show when it goes online is starting to clear up. And one familiar face not heading to the show's new iteration is Jr Chandler #6, Jacob Young.

As first reported by TVGuide, Young will return to "The Bold and the Beautiful" upon the conclusion of "AMC's" run on ABC.

His first episode back as fashion-industry heir Rick Forrester, which he played from 1997 to 1999, airs Sept. 26, just days after the "AMC" finale.

"When I started talking to 'B&B' I didn't think it would happen so fast," he tells the magazine, "I was looking forward to wrapping up 'AMC' and having a bit of a hiatus, maybe a month or two to travel with my family. As it turns out, I'll probably have my AMC and B&B schedules overlapping and be shooting both shows at the same time.

All My Children star Jacob Young (J.R.) will be returning to his role as Rick Forrester on The Bold And The Beautiful on September 26, the Monday after the ABC soap airs its final television episode.

Young told TV Guide Magazine, "To let opportunity pass by during this time of uncertainty is just kind of silly. I couldn't wait around. I spoke to some of my cast members and advised them all to get out there in the business and see what's crackin'. Anybody with common sense would do that."

Young previously played Rick on B&B from 1997 to 1999.

On the move of AMC to the internet, Young added, "I've talked to a lot of the AMC production staff and they're saying that if these deals with Prospect Park aren't put in place by September so that the production and the writing can get back up and rolling, it's going to be very difficult logistically.

If All My Children does indeed move on to the internet as planned, it'll happen without Jacob Young. Lowder began his run in daytime television in 2000 as Brady Black in NBC’s Days Of Our Lives. Lowder remained in this role until 2005 and earned both a Daytime Emmy nomination and Soap Opera Digest Award along the way. From 2007 until January of this year, Lowder starred as Rick Forrester in the CBS Daytime drama, The Bold And The Beautiful. Also a professional singer, Lowder has since released his self-titled CD, which debuted at #3 on iTunes in the Classical Crossover category.

Soap stars Arianne Zucker and Kyle Lowder are first-time parents, having welcomed daughter Isabella on Monday, December 7th.

Baby girl arrived via c-section and slightly ahead of schedule, for Arianne had given a due date of December 16th. According to CBS Soaps In Depth the couple have been telling friends that Isabella takes after Kyle.

The pregnancy was announced in June.
