Of French and German descent, Forester spent three years studying German at UCLA and, in 2006, a term at the Goethe Institut in Schwaebisch Hall, Germany.

Forester was her paternal grandmother's maiden name.

Gave birth to daughter, Frances Eleanor Brown, on February 11, 2009.

Gave birth to son, Paul Walker Brown III, on October 14, 2010.

Loves to knit in her spare time and is the cover model of Greetings from Knit Cafe by former CBS vice president, Suzan Mischer.

Majored in Musical Theatre Performance at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan before moving to Los Angeles at the age of 19 to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Her first bookings after graduation were in No, No, Nanette and A Chorus Line at Long Beach Civic Light Opera.

Was a drama major at CAPA (Creative And Performing Arts) magnet high school for the arts in Livonia, MI. Fellow alumni include Judy Greer and Rosie Thomas.
