Nils-Eric Fougstedt was born on 24 May 1910 in Turku, Finland. He was a composer, known for Katariina ja Munkkiniemen kreivi (1943), En ole kreivitär (1945) and Tanssi yli hautojen (1950). He was married to Greta Karin Torborg Blumenthal. He died on 12 April 1961 in Helsinki, Finland.
