Directed by Tibor Takács from a screenplay written by David Chaskin, I, Madman has the following synopsis:

Beautiful bookseller Virginia fosters a growing interest in the works of reclusive novelist Malcolm Brand. After much fruitless searching, Virginia finally receives a package containing Brand’s recent book, “I, Madman,” about a deranged doctor spurned by a beautiful woman. But, as Virginia devours Brand’s latest offering, she begins to have chilling visions of characters from the book — and the line between fiction and reality grows terrifyingly thin.

BMG has partnered with executive producers Daryl Hall and Jonathan Wolfson to secure worldwide rights for Hall’s Webby Award-winning TV series, “Live from Daryl’s House” and will begin producing new segments beginning this fall, the company announced today. The agreement includes worldwide rights to the complete run of 82 episodes filmed from 2007-2016, and the company is seeking distribution partners for the new episodes. Good Cop Bad Cop Productions’ Hall and Wolfson as well as BMG’s Joe Thomas and Bob Frank in executive producer roles, while Sound Off Productions’ Domenic Cotter will remain as producer.

Hall said, “I’m really excited to work with BMG, who are enthusiastic about taking this show to the next level with me. Fans have been asking me when we are returning, so I am pleased to say that we are headed into production in the fall.”

According to reports, Marvel Comics' superhero team "The Invaders" will play a prominent role in director Joe Johnston's upcoming World War II action adventure "First Avenger: Captain America".

"The Invaders" comic book was created by writer Roy Thomas and illustrator Sal Buscema, debuting in the 1969 Marvel comic book "The Avengers" #71. The superhero crime-fighting team was inspired by the Ww II characters of the "All-Winners Squad", created by publisher Martin Goodman and scripter Bill Finger in 1946 for Timely Comics, the predecessor to Marvel.

"The Invaders" team first appeared in Ww II flashback stories, featuring 'Captain America' aka 'Steve Rogers', sidekick 'Bucky' aka 'James Barnes', the android 'Human Torch' aka 'Jim Hammond', the Torch's sidekick 'Toro' aka 'Thomas Raymond' and half-human 'Namor the Sub-Mariner'.
