An expat of New York City, Scott JT Frank spent eight years as a Cameraman with 60 minutes. He went on to produce award-winning documentaries with celebrities Susan Sarandon, James Taylor, Iman, Chuck Yeager, Dean Stockwell, Miles Davis, and others. He was nominated for a writing Emmy for the CBS series; When I Grow Up. Scott graduated from Cal Arts. He created and produced the Emmy/Ace Award-winning Showtime series; Picture Windows working with directors: Norman Jewison, John Boorman, Peter Bogdanovich, Bob Rafelson, Joe Dante and Jonathan Kaplan. Boorman's film opened Cannes that year. Scott co-wrote and produced the Lionsgate motion picture, Road Kings, starring Glenn Plummer and Chris Spencer with soundtrack artists; Snoop, ODB, Korn and Nate Dogg. In recent years, Scott has focused on writing and financing features while show running the Chicken Soup for the Soul dramatic series, A Gift of Love and the PBS documentary series, Phenomenon: The Lost Archives. He has worked overseas in Pakistan, Iran, and Tanzania on commissioned scripts. His recent screenplay, Tiger Heart, brought the attention of director Dwight Little and other top talent. The film will be shot in India this year.
