Leonard Fung
- Second Unit Director or Assistant Director
- Actor
- Camera and Electrical Department
Leonard "Lenny" Fung started performing from a young age whether it was dancing or in musicals, and it was through this early experience that he landed the role as one of the main cast members as the Dragonlord in the drama series Spellbinders 2.
It is through this experience that he fell in love with film making and always hung back on set after he was wrapped to observe the process. Lenny continued to act whilst balancing high school and after graduating he pursued his knowledge for the film industry and attained a Bachelor's degree in TV, Video, and film production. It from this moment he transitioned to the camera department where he started off as a clapper loader and would eventually become a focus puller.
Lenny then chose to divert his focus into his other passion of dance and became the founder and director of Dance Generation Studios. Throughout it's 6 year tenure Lenny directed dance crews that were crowned state champions, filmed music videos and introduced many dancers in to the street and urban styles. Dance Generation was a hub that fostered a very healthy dance community in Sydney's north west.
From his experience being a business owner and operator Lenny realised that he could best apply this in the role as an Assistant Director and first stepped on as a floor manager, audience coordinator and art director for Live TV.
Lenny has now had extensive experience as a 3rd A.D. on feature films and TV series and has also stepped into the 1st A.D. role on short films and commercials.
