Alf's X-Men parodies are hilariously absurd, poking fun at Marvel's mutants with food-based puns and outlandish twists. Alf comic series extended the TV show's humor to new heights, parroting X-Men lore with creative insight and oversaturated jokes. Alf #22 and #44 showcase wild flights of fantasy in reimagining iconic X-Men characters in a childish, yet endearing way.
Alf's parodies of the X-Men are as over-the-top as the sitcom ever got; to this day, they remain as absurdly hilarious as they were at the time of their release. Along with its cult-favorite TV run in the late 1980s, NBC's Alf had an ongoing comic series, released by Marvel Comics something that gave its creative team the perfect opportunity to parody the publisher's most famous franchise.
Alf #22 and #44 written by Michael Gallagher, with art by Dave Manak featured the series' extensive X-Men parodies, each of which poked fun at Marvel's mutants,...

Reps heading a special committee of the U.S. House of Representatives are questioning Apple CEO Tim Cook about whether the tech giant’s decision to cancel Jon Stewart’s Apple TV+ talk show was because the host may have been planning an upcoming episode about China.
“While companies have the right to determine what content is appropriate for their streaming service, the coercive tactics of a foreign power should not be directly or indirectly influencing these determinations,” the leaders of the House of Representatives’ Select Committee on Competition with the Chinese Communist Party (Ccp) wrote in the letter to Cook, released Wednesday.
News that “The Problem With Jon Stewart,” from the former “Daily Show” host, would not return for a third season on Apple TV+ came out in October. Per the New York Times, Stewart told staff members that possible upcoming topics for the show including China and artificial...
