She is an actress, known for Critters 2 (1988), The Shining (1997), Psycho IV (1990), Sleepwalkers (1992) and TV Mini-Series The Stand(1994) and a producer known for Unbroken: Path to Redemption (2018). She is married to director Mick Garris since May 13, 1982 to present.

  • Known for four projects that Stephen King wrote and her husband Mick Garris directed: She played Susan Stern in The Stand, the infamous "woman in the off-limits room 217" in King's own miniseries of The Shining, Laurie in Sleepwalkers (the vampire movie with all the cats), and in addition to Lizzie Caplan and Kathy Bates, she is also one of the actresses who played Nurse Annie Wilkes (Riding the Bullet).
