Avengers: Infinity War, The Incredibles 2, and Star Wars are among the highlights of D23!
Avengers: Infinity War, The Incredibles 2, and Star Wars are among the highlights of D23!Avengers: Infinity War, The Incredibles 2, and Star Wars are among the highlights of D23!Tanner Zipchen7/17/2017 12:08:00 Pm

Another D23, a massive Disney fan event, is now behind us. Over the weekend, the Anaheim convention centre was transformed into the ultimate Disney fan HQ with autograph signings by stars, fan photo ops, and all kinds of exclusive merch. It also turns into the hub of entertainment news, with 3 days of big, star-filled panels. While that was happening, I was busy covering the red carpet behind the stage, talking with all the filmmakers and stars, while a crowd of thousands of fans erupted at the big announcements being made on the other side of the wall. I did run into a few Canadian fans on the convention floor over the weekend, but in case you weren’t there,...

She may be gone, but those who knew her best (and loved her dearly) are making sure "La Diva de la Banda" is not forgotten. A new Jenni Rivera album was released Dec. 3, featuring songs from her last concert in Monterrey, Mexico, and her eldest daughter, Janney "Chiquis" Rivera, will play Jenni in a new movie being made about the singer. On the anniversary of her death, Jenni's celeb friends, co-stars and producers are also sharing their favorite memories of Jenni exclusively with People.

Good morning, Brewbies! Let's kick of Monday with some bad news/good news. The bad news: Paige McCullers will not be gracing us with her presence during tomorrow night's Pretty Little Liars season three finale. The good news: Season four started filming late last week, and Lindsey Shaw tweeted from set Friday night with a Paily update:

Reunited with @shaymitch, and it feels so good. :) #Paily #Pll

#Paily is cuter than ever in season 4!! You're a doll @shaymitch! We'll see what's in store....#Pll

— Lindsey Shaw (@LadyShawsters) March 16, 2013

Tegan and Sara co-hosted the the mtvU Woodie Awards over the weekend, where they also performed "Closer" to the hyped up SXSW crowd. I'm psyched beyond measure at the revolutionary way things are changing for gay people these days, but it still blows my mind a...

'American Idol's' Paige Miles on 'Ellen': 'These are my farewell pats'
Paige Miles tells Ellen DeGeneres she had a feeling she was going home because host Ryan Seacrest kept giving her "farewell pats."

Paige Miles performed "Living for the City" on Sunday, March 28th at the Universal City Walk in Orlando as part of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show's" trip to Florida.

Ellen asks her how she kind of knew she was going home. "For me it was the hour before the show started and it was a weird feeling I got," says Paige. "Ryan kept doing these really nice pats during the show and I was like, look Tim, I'm leaving. These are my farewell pats."

Ellen responds, "Now everyone is going to be worried about those pats that Ryan gives. "The Ryan pats," declares Paige. "He's just a loving guy," Ellen says.

Look for Paige's interview and performance to air on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Thursday, April 1. Sharon Osbourne...

'American Idol': On the scene for Top 11 'performance' night
Simon Cowell in American Idol (2002)
“I don’t get the song choices tonight. I really don’t.” – Ellen Degeneres Your Aunt Whittlz took her first steps into Idoldome Oh-Ten this afternoon with what could tentatively be termed optimism, PopWatchers. I have learned my lesson after yea these many years of writing blogs on this here website: You commenters can be tough, but you are never more cutting than when the author expresses a certain weary disdain for the subject at hand. New Season, New Attitude! was my Tlc-reality-show-style motto today, fueled by the gorgeous L.A. weather and a meeting we had with the...

Best. Gay. Week. Ever. (November, 06, 2009)
Knock, Knock. Who's There? The Closet. you're Still Around? You Better Believe It!

There's been a great deal of discussion on the site over the past couple of weeks about gay celebrities, the closet and what constitutes being "out." And even though we've discussed the issue numerous times before, it seems like it is once again time to revisit the topic. And it's a subject that is as tricky as ever and that can have real consequences for the celebrities involved.

Perez kicked the latest round of debate off when he posted an item about White Collar's Matthew Bomer. Without citing a source or saying how he knew, Perez simply claimed Matt was an out gay man. If true, we were certainly interested in writing about Matt and his show, but as we aren't a gossip site, I wasn't going to simply repeat Perez's claims — for lots of reasons.

Bitch Slap: Grindhouse Done Right?
I’ll just start right off and say that Bitch Slap (yes, that’s really the title) isn’t the sort of movie we usually cover here at Screen Rant - but then again I did review the double feature Grindhouse, half of which was a blast (Robert Rodriguez’ Planet Terror) and half of which was one of the most awful, terrible movie experiences I’ve ever had the displeasure to sit through (Quentin Tarantino’s Death Proof).

I can enjoy a guilty pleasure like anyone else, evidenced by the fact that I thought Planet Terror was a blast. And this flick falls in the same category. On the other hand Quentin Tarantino’s Death Proof was torture to sit through, with unending minutes of painful, unending, trailer-park-chick-version of Oprah dialog.

Hopefully this film will be more like Rodriguez’ film than Tarantino’s.

I had the pleasure of meeting the...
