The Young and the Restless star Peter Bergman has already made history by receiving his record 25th nomination at the Daytime Emmys for Best Drama Actor. To date, he's won three of those contests for playing Jack Abbott in 1991, 1992, and 2002. If he claims No. 4 this year, he'd be behind only Anthony Geary (eight wins for General Hospital) and David Canary (five wins for All My Children) on the category's all-time winners list.
This Daytime Emmys race is shaping up to be a battle between Bergman and Dominic Zamprogna (General Hospital), who's on his second lead nomination as Dante Falconeri after previously earning three bids in supporting. According to Gold Derby's predictions, Bergman has a 68 percent chance of winning, compared to a 15 percent chance for Zamprogna. But the latter has gained momentum in recent weeks, up 4 points from the time the noms were announced.

A song from Kin Shriner‘s General Hospital past came back to haunt him in an unusual way. “Yes, I’m on the phone with SAG, and this is what they’re playing,” Shriner said in a Monday, July 21, Instagram video. In the clip, the tune that played as the call was on hold was none other than the same song used during Luke (Anthony Geary) and Laura’s (Genie Francis) controversial General Hospital rape scene: “Rise” by Herb Alpert. “For those who get the joke!!!” Shriner captioned the post, referring to the infamous TV moment. Despite being one of the most popular couples in soap opera history, Luke and Laura’s relationship got off to a rough start when the former raped Laura at a disco during a 1979 episode of the ABC series. At the time of the incident, Laura was married to Shriner’s character, Scotty Baldwin. Luke...

General Hospital spoilers report speculation is swirling about the future of Gh as fans ponder a day when original cast members like Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) and Genie Francis (Laura Collins) might step away, leaving their iconic roles to be recast or written off.
In July 2025, with Port Charles thriving on fresh faces and veterans alike, the question looms: can Gh retain its soul without these anchors who’ve defined it for decades?
The show has weathered the exits of legends like Anthony Geary (Luke Spencer), John Ingle (Edward Quartermaine), and Stuart Damon (Alan Quartermaine), but how many Og’s — Aka original gangsters — can depart before Gh loses the nostalgic heartbeat that feels like home? What’s the tipping point for the Og-to-newcomer ratio?
The Legacy of Benard and Francis
Maurice Benard’s Sonny, the brooding mob boss, and Genie Francis’ Laura, the heart of Port Charles, have been linchpins since the 1980s and 1990s,...

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, July 3 tease disturbing discussions, bearing bad news, and words of warning.
Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) has a disturbing discussion, Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) bears bad news, and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) has words of warning.
Lulu’s Advice
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) looks worried as Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) gives her advice-she asks her mother “how far are you willing to go to make that happen?”
It’s likely they’re discussing Laura’s efforts to keep Port Charles safe, and that doesn’t include Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) influence.
Everyone seems much more concerned about Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) friendship with Laura, which goes back years to when she was still married to Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary).
But it was Sidwell who nearly cost Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) his life and tried taking out Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson...

General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) name has been mentioned a lot lately, and there are many questions about Rocco Falconeri’s (Finn Carr) backstory coming up.
This could indicate a significant twist is coming, especially since we know Kelly Thiebaud will return in July; we just don’t know for sure who she’s playing.
Resurrection Or Recast?
With only a few weeks left until Kelly Thiebaud returns to Gh, the question remains: who will she portray; has the show found a way to resurrect Britt?
Even if they reverse her death caused by Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) hook stabbing and the poison, there’s still the issue of her having Huntington’s Disease, which has no cure.
The writers would need to claim Britt was misdiagnosed or something similar, as creating a fictional cure for a serious real-life illness would be inappropriate and likely unpopular with fans.

This week on General Hospital, Lucky proposed to Elizabeth, she said no, and Lucky admitted he didn’t really want to stay in town anyway, so he is out of there — again. Lucky has accepted that he is too much of a wanderer, and that he can never settle down, not even for the woman he’s loved for decades, or their sons. He’s just like his dad, Luke, that way. Except here’s why we’re not buying it — about either of them.
Father Figure
Some thirty years after marrying the love of his life, Luke (Anthony Geary) announced that he was never happy being a husband or a father, and that he resented Laura (Genie Francis) for tying him down and forcing him to be someone he’s not.
Luke can keep saying it and saying it and saying it. But we don’t believe it. Because we saw otherwise.

The doctors are in! And some of them have been for decades.
General Hospital, the longest-running soap opera in American television history, has been a daytime staple since its first broadcast on ABC on April 1, 1963. Created by Frank and Doris Hursley, the show explores intimate, emotional tales about the lives of medical staffers and their loved ones (and enemies) in the fictional town of Port Charles, N.Y. Viewers have followed some of its characters for so long, they now feel like part of the family. But who are the longest-running cast members on General Hospital? You might be surprised.
The daytime serial, which started airing in hourlong increments in 1978, celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down as it enters its seventh decade and draws close to 16,000 total episodes. Jonathan Jackson left fans stunned last week when it was confirmed that he is leaving General Hospital again, under a year after returning to the ABC sudser. Now, the actor is explaining the reasons behind his unexpected exit.
Jackson shares with TV Insider that it was not his intention to leave so soon.
“No, it wasn’t,” said Jackson. “It was more of a real, sincere attempt from myself and from General Hospital to make it work for a longer period of time. The hope was to be able to stay on longer.”
It turns out that an experiment to travel between his home in Tennesse and California, where Gh films, became too disruptive to his life. “There was always that possibility because it was a bit of an experiment on my part to see if I could make it work with the family dynamic,” revealed Jackson, who is married with three children.

Lucky has come and gone on General Hospital in the blink of an eye. Fans celebrated his return, but now, less than a year later, he is leaving once again. What was the point?

A young Jonathan Jackson was the perfect son for legendary couple Luke (ex-Anthony Geary) and Laura (Genie Francis). Slightly under a year after returning to General Hospital, Daytime Emmy winner Jonathan Jackson is leaving again, along with his character Lucky Spencer.
Fans were ecstatic last summer when Jackson returned to the ABC sudser after nearly 10 years. But after his most recent episode, which contained strong hints he might be leaving, Deadline has confirmed that is, in fact, the case.
In the episode, Lucky announced he would be leaving Port Charles after Liz (Rebecca Herbst) turned down his surprise marriage proposal. Explaining that her life is in Port Charles, she realized that he could never be happy there. Admitting that Port Charles was “not his home anymore,” he told Liz he would be leaving. “I know it’s sudden,” he explained. “But being here, knowing that we can’t be together, it just hurts too much.”

Lulu keeps telling everyone that the reason she spilled the beans about Gio’s real parents on General Hospital was because she wanted Dante to know he had another son, and for Gio to feel apart of his new family. General Hospital’s Nurses Ball may have been missing a few things this year — like some beloved characters and a half-naked Lucy — but what it had plenty of was memorable performances! Here is every 2025 Nurses Ball performance, ranked.
Honorable Mention: The Tango That Wasn’t
Let’s start off with an honorable mention: Anna (Finola Hughes) and Chase’s (Josh Swickard) Tango… that didn’t happen. The Pcpd pair were supposed to dance, accompanied by Gio (Giovanni Mazza), but the real entertainment happened when Gio’s violin came to an abrupt stop and he made the big reveal that Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) are his parents.
7. Opening Act ft. Gh Nurses + Isaiah
There may be no opening act that could top the famous “Welcome to the Nurses Ball,” so watching beloved nurses like Amy (Risa Dorken), Deanna (Dioni Michelle Collins), and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) sing fell a bit short.

Two General Hospital legends have passed away in recent months. Monica and Lesley had one of the greatest rivalries in Gh history. They will be missed.
Fighting It Out
Back in the day, there was plenty of drama between the great quadrangle of Monica (the late Leslie Charleson), Alan (the late Stuart Damon), Lesley (the late Denise Alexander), and Rick (Chris Robinson).
Rick and Monica were engaged to be married, but he broke it off and went to Africa, where he was presumed dead. She then married his brother, Jeff, but cheated on him with Rick when it was discovered he was still alive. In the meantime, Rick fell for Lesley, much to Monica’s dismay. Then came some blackmail, a stair fall, and a miscarriage. Monica was still in love with Rick but married Alan.
Monica and Rick had a one-night stand while they were both married, and she became pregnant.

Best known for her portrayal as Dr. Lesley Webber on “General Hospital,” actress Denise Alexander has died. At the time of her death, which was Wednesday, March 5, she was 85 years old. No official cause of death was announced at press time.
Born November 11, 1939, in New York City, Alexander made her daytime drama debut in 1960 playing Lois Adams in the short-lived series “The Clear Horizon” before making a name for herself in the role of Susan Hunter Martin on “Days of our Lives” in 1966. After contract negotiations hit a standstill in 1973 with the then-NBC soap, she went on to join the cast of “General Hospital.”
“It was Betty Corday [then executive producer of ‘Days of our Lives’] who sent me to ‘General Hospital,’” said Alexander in a 2010 interview with We Love Soaps. “She said, ‘You must do this.’ So when I went to ‘General Hospital,’ they didn’t have a character for me. Long-running soaps like General Hospital have a rich history. Characters and storylines are always evolving, and soaps need to keep up with the times. But their legacy characters are just as, if not more, important.
Remember When?
Gh premiered in 1963, and most of the original cast are no longer with us, but there are still characters who have been around since the 70s and 80s. Port Charles is also filled with children and grandchildren with legacy names.
The Quartermaines, the Baldwins, the Webbers, the Spencers, the Scorpios, and the Cassadines have all been around for decades. Every once in a while, a family member will flash back to an old story so that viewers either remember or learn the history behind a current situation.

The Nurses Ball is back on General Hospital! Here’s what we know about Gh’s biggest event of the year.
When’s The Ball?
Hosted by Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), the Nurses Ball will begin on May 20, 2025. The ball usually spans about a week for viewers, but is only one day of drama for the people of Port Charles.
What’s The Charity?
Since its start in 1994, the Gh Nurses Ball raised money for HIV and AIDS after Robin (Kimberly McCullough) was diagnosed with HIV and Stone (Michael Sutton) died from the disease. The Nurses Ball has never switched things up, but could this be the year they do? With Gh’s official invite stating “a charitable event” and Lucy realizing thanks to the ball’s generous backer Sidwell (Carlo Rota) that HIV and AIDS doesn’t need research funding anymore, could this be the year the ball changes charities?...

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, April 16 tease master plans, suspicious motives, and pertinent questions. Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) has a master plan, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) has suspicious motives, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has pertinent questions.
Master Plans
At Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) house, Lucky sits beside her during a preview clip for the April 16 episode, as she lies on the couch. Lucky tells her everything that happens is part of his master plan. He’s making a commitment, and he is going to take care of her until she’s able to be on both feet again, after the horrible crash that broke her leg. Lucky sounds like he’s got everything planned out, so, between him and Aiden Spencer (Colin Cassidy), and possibly Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) pinch-hitting they’ll get her through.
Although Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) was trying to be an excellent nurse for Elizabeth,...

General Hospital Spoilers report the Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) saga is about to take a swoon-worthy turn, with Dante finally letting his guard down after a tearful confession of love from Lulu.
That’s right — our favorite cop’s heart is thawing, and he’s possibly going to admit what we’ve all known for years: he has never stopped loving Lulu, coma or not.
But hold the celebration, Gh diehards, because there’s a storm brewing on the horizon. Lulu is hiding a whopper of a secret, and when it comes out, Dante’s newfound feelings might crash and burn.

General Hospital gives five couples I think need to get together Asap to spice things up in Port Charles. In the mix is a love match for Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), one for Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), and also Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), among others. And now let’s talk romance on Gh and who is in dire need of some good loving.
General Hospital: Tracy Quartermaine and Martin Gray – A Hilarious Love Match?
The number one couple I’d like to see happen on General Hospital is Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and her legal arch-nemesis, Martin Gray (Michael E Knight). First, because these two are an absolute blast together.
Their bickering and bantering back and forth is always hilarious. Martin has the same kind of energy to me that Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) did, you know, and he was the love of Tracy’s life. Martin is that roguish...

Kristina Wagner looked back at Felicia’s romances on General Hospital. She’s had many epic relationships over the years. However, fans were forever “grossed out” by this pairing.
Felicia and Luke Heat Up Daytime
Felicia and Luke (Anthony Geary) were regarded as one of Gh’s super couples. Their relationship happened around the early 2000s. Their love story was mostly regarded as passionate. Felicia and Luke’s chemistry was electric. It was undeniable.
They could sense it between them as well. The two ended up sleeping with one another. Unfortunately, nothing came out of their relationship. Gh isn’t afraid of toying with torrid affairs these days. (Anyone else thinking of Drew Cain and Willow?) But this was one of the first that was polarizing among fans.
Getting The Ick
In an interview with Swooon, Wagner looked back at Felicia’s romances on Gh. She recalled a very different reaction to Felicia and Luke.

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roché) could very well be behind Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) penthouse bombing.
Now that Sebastian’s character Father Renaud has been killed off “1923”, he may have time to reprise his role on Gh.
There Are Several Reasons To Suspect Jerry Jacks
There are several reasons to suspect Jerry Jacks is the one behind the scenes who hired Soliski (Mike Wolfe) to plant the bomb in Sonny’s penthouse. For one thing, Jerry has always been a mercenary, and able to get his hands on weapons and even bioweapons.
Jerry was the one who tainted the Port Charles water with a deadly toxin in 2012, that Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) referred to in March 31’s episode.
Plus, in 1998 he planted a bomb in a warehouse that caused a fire, nearly killing Sonny, his brother, Jax Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis...

General Hospital squeezed a lot of history into one episode. It was a wonderful walk down memory lane, but one recollection felt slightly off.
Was That How It Happened?
Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) were the young super-couple of their time. Now that the son of Luke (Anthony Geary) and Laura (Genie Francis) has returned to Port Charles, he and Liz are falling back in love, and all is right with the world. It has been fun watching flashbacks of their younger years.
Elizabeth was in a terrible car crash and is recovering at Gh. While Lucky sat at her bedside, waiting for her eyes to open, he confessed his love. He told her he loved her from the moment they met. But did he? If we go back in time, it is easy to remember that Lucky really had a crush on Liz’s sister, Sarah (ex-...

General Hospital spoilers and rumors present a mystery that needs to be solved, and the solution couldn’t come too quickly for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)! If Valentin Cassadine, (James Patrick Stuart), Jack Brennan, (Chris L. McKenna) or Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) didn’t plant the bomb that nearly killed Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), who did?
Jack Wouldn’t Have Wanted Collateral Damage
Valentin confessed that he attempted to kill Sonny on Jack’s orders in the past, but the bombing was too careless for someone like Jack, who would have likely installed cameras.
He would have wanted to ensure that only Sonny was present, especially given his feelings for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), Michael’s mother. The question of who tried to kill Sonny Corinthos by detonating a bomb in his penthouse remains unsolved.
Many want Sonny dead, but the way it went down leads me to doubt that...

Elizabeth and Lucky were a General Hospital super-couple back in the day. They had a legendary teen romance that lasted (on and off) into adulthood. What is in store for them now?
Reunited And It Feels So Good
Lucky was off canvas for quite a number of years so Elizabeth moved on. She raised her boys alone, became Head Nurse at Gh, and had other love stories. Her first love returned to Port Charles just after she ended her relationship with Finn (ex-Michael Easton) and sparks immediately flew.
Liz and Lucky had their caper and were almost killed by Cyrus (ex-Jeff Kober). The murderer is now dead, Lucky is out of the hospital, and the couple is well on their way to reuniting. Their son Aidan (Colin Cassidy) is slowly getting used to having his dad back in the picture so all looks right in their world. Now what?...

General Hospital spoilers indicate that we still do not know who was behind the gun that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) dumped over the bridge at Blackstone Canyon, showing up at the Pcpd in a box.
Alexis disposed of this gun because she believed that her daughter, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) killed John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington) with this gun that she stole from Sonny’s penthouse.
Ballistics showed that the gun that was sent to the Pcpd was not the gun used to kill Cates, and the charges against Alexis were dropped. Who found the gun, and sent it to the police? Could it be Jerry Jacks (last played by Sebastian Roche)?

There have been far too many fa-favorite deaths on General Hospital in recent years… or should we say “deaths.” Here are five Gh characters who really should not be dead.
Dex
First and foremost, and also the latest devastating death to hit Port Charles, was Dex (ex-Evan Hofer). Despite surviving things like being hung from a meat hook, beaten by Sonny (Maurice Benard), and shot in a warehouse, Dex ultimately lost his life due to digitalis at the hands of Cyrus (ex-Jeff Kober). While his death played a key role in Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) latest choices, it had also been done before to Joss, but this time to a character with a lot of potential for stories down the line. It’s looking unlikely that Dex’s death was faked, considering his killer has also been killed, but if he were alive, he would be in for...

General Hospital (Gh) spoilers hint that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is more determined than ever to find out who was behind his penthouse explosion.

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, March 18 tease broken trust, broken heart, help urgently needed, and reality checks!
Brook Lynn Chase (Amanda Setton) cries over broken trust with a broken heart, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) urgently needs help, and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) gets a severe reality check!
Broken Trust, Broken Heart
After Brook Lynn told Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is the father of her baby, Chase apparently can’t handle it.
Brook Lynn obviously feels like she’s broken his trust when he reacts, shouting “this changes everything!” and she looks like her heart is broken.
It definitely puts Chase in an awkward position, considering Dante is his partner at the Pcpd.
Can the two of them work things out; Brook Lynn is obviously afraid it’s the end. In the meanwhile, Chase is faced with a dilemma!

Sonny (Maurice Benard) met with Gio (Giovanni Mazza) and gave him money for an upcoming school trip. He later visited Gh to check on Laura (Genie Francis) after Lucky’s (Jonathan Jackson) hospitalization and assured her that Lucky got the best of both her and Luke (ex-Anthony Geary).
Josslyn (Eden McCoy) came up with a story about the previous night involving Dex’s (ex-Evan Hofer) apartment and trashing her phone when Trina (Tabyana Ali) pressed her about what she was up to. Later, she found out from...

General Hospital has some single people in Port Charles that need love in their life and some romantic pairings that fans are dying to see, and a couple that I’m dying to see.
I want to discuss romantic partners for Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), and several others. And hey, if you’re not following us, please click that subscribe button now! Let’s dive into the romantic state of affairs in Port Chuck.
I first want to say I know there’s plenty of people that would like to see Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) far away from Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and her with a new romantic partner, but I’m not going to dive into that today. That deserves its own video about who Willow should pick that would be better than Drew, which would be literally almost any...

The next General Hospital spoilers video for Friday, February 28, 2025, shows Isaiah cautioning Jordan while Lucky seeks a favor, and Molly opens up to Cody.
Coming up in Port Charles
Still in his hospital bed, Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) says to someone, “I have a favor to ask.” Since we last saw him talking to Sonny (Maurice Benard), he may have been asking for the favor from our favorite racketeer.
Read This: Rewind to the conversation Lucky and Sonny had about Luke (Anthony Geary).
Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) tells Jordan (Tanisha Harper), “If you get in the way of that, he will get rid of you.” He’s obviously warning her about Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Curtis (Donnell Turner) already warned her about trying to get intel from the baddie. With all these warnings that Jordan’s not heeding, you know she’s going to end up in trouble.

General Hospital spoilers and updates for February 28 tease wise warnings, flirty friends, and suspicious Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)! Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) has a wise warning, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) has a flirty friend, and Sonny’s suspicious something’s not adding up.
Favors To Ask
Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) recently woke up from his brush with death, which he recently shared with Sonny about hearing Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) sending him back! Now he’s sitting up and off life support and he tells someone he has a favor to ask. Chances are, he’s talking to his mother, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) who rushed right over from her office when Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) called that he’d woken up.
Sonny drove her, so that makes perfect sense for her to be there for Lucky to talk to. The question is, what favor does Lucky want to ask?...

Lucky finally woke up from his digitalis scare on the February 27, 2025, episode of General Hospital, and he made an unexpected reveal.
He’s So Lucky
It’s only been a day since Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) fought Cyrus (ex-Jeff Kober) in Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) living room, but he’s been through the wringer. First, he was stabbed with a dose of Digitalis, then almost succumbed to it the way many before him did. With the help of Elizabeth, Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson), and Portia (Brook Kerr), Lucky pulled through and had his family huddled at Gh the entire time.
As Lulu (Alexa Havins) sat by her brother’s bedside, she was relieved when he opened his eyes and greeted her with a “Hey, Leslie Lou,” much like he always did when they were growing up. His waking up created a chain reaction of visitors, from Elizabeth approaching him with a...

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, February 27 tease hello trouble, making sure, and opening up.
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) says hello to trouble, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) wants to make sure, and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) opens up.
Hello Trouble!
At Bobbie’s, Carly encounters Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) and asks a loaded question; what kind of trouble have you been stirring up?
Oh, if only she knew, she’d be addressing her would-be lover as “Trouble”! Little does she know Brennan is the one framing Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and using her daughter Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to boot.
Brennan talked Josslyn into joining the Wsb, but it was under manipulation to be sure. He didn’t come out and say it, but she’s obviously worried about all the secrecy it entails, not to mention Jason going down for her actions!
Hidden Motives
In the meantime,...

General Hospital Spoilers note rumors are swirling about Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) future. With Lindstrom’s debut as Joey Armstrong this week on the new CBS soap Beyond the Gates, fans are buzzing: could this mean Kevin’s days in Port Charles are numbered?
The beloved psychiatrist has been a cornerstone of the show since 1993, but his sporadic appearances lately have fueled speculation, especially given that we haven’t seen him since Christmastime!
If Kevin is on his way out, how will the show write off such an iconic character? Will it be possible for Laura to carry on and find someone new again?
Is this the means to an end for Kevin and Laura so that fans will accept her singlehood and allow for one last return to the canvas from a presumed-dead Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary)?

Even the best couples on General Hospital don’t usually last. Brook Lynn and Chase can be one of the exceptions, but only if they don’t break up over these complicated pregnancy issues.
Couple Goals
When Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) finally admitted their feelings, we all fell in love with them. Poor Chase was brokenhearted over Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), and Blq was devastated about her singing career. Who would have thought the lie about Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) baby would bring this couple together?
It did, and they now have the makings of a lasting romance. They are both kind and caring and lift each other up. They could live the fairytale even if they hit a bump in the road. Fertility issues and a long-lost son will be hard on them, but it doesn’t need to end them.

On Thursday, February 20, 2025, The Paley Museum at the Paley Center for Media in New York City held a red carpet premiere for Beyond the Gates, the first new network daytime drama in 25 years (since Passions), the first new soap opera to debut on CBS since 1987 (The Bold and the Beautiful), the first new show for Procter & Gamble Productions, the company that put the “soap” in “soap opera” since As the World Turns went off the air in 2010, and the first time the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) has stepped up as a co-presenter. Tea was spilled! And I was lucky enough to be front and center to hear it all.
