Danny Gellis was born on May 04, 1971, in Van Nuys, California, USA. From as young as a toddler, Danny modeled for Mattel, Fisher-Price and May Company. By the age of 5, they starred in the Oscar Nominated Short Subject, The Birthday, (1976) before Co-Starring in the film The Big Fix (1977). They appeared on episodes of The Waltons (1978) then became a series regular on the Television Drama, Knots Landing (1979 - 1982) as Jason Avery. Throughout their stint on Knots Landing, Danny still managed to appear in several films, including Chapter Two. (1980) and Private Benjamin (1980) amongst television commercials for products such as Knight Rider Kit Car (1981), Jell-O (1982), Whishing Stars Cereal (1982), Voice Character for Disney World Tokyo (1983) until booking the role of Jimmy Desmond on Capitol Soap Opera (1982 - 1987) where he was nominated twice for Best Young Actor at the Youth and Film awards. (1985 & 1986). He went on to guest star in television shows, Trauma Center (1983), Three's Company (1984), and after Capitol being canceled and ending his contract with CBS, he went on to Co-Star in A Different Affair MOV (1987), The New Leave It To Beaver (1986), Who's the Boss (1987), Out of this World (1988), and Small Wonder (1988)

Offscreen, Danny went on to work in the fine arts and television advertising. In 1999, they moved to Hong Kong working with J. Gallery as Curator of Chinese Contemporary Art and then STAR TV, as Sales Manager of Advertising for Channel [V] before moving to Australia and eventually back to the United States. Always being into fitness, specifically bicycling throughout their life, they opened the bicycle store, Rolling Cowboys Bicycle Shop (2010 - 2016), they have appeared on the Home & Family Show (2015 & 2016) on the Hallmark channel, before closing it to move to Dubai, UAE to run American Bicycle Manufacturer Trek Bicycles (2016-2018).

They have one daughter Brittany C. Gellis (1990) and one grand-daughter Harper Ann Huntt

Danny hosts the podcast, Serious Spinach.
