On Wednesday, Netflix made the news official that Bridgerton has been renewed for an additional two seasons, Seasons 5 and 6, continuing the show well past its previous renewal for Season 4. The news was announced with a letter written by Lady Whistledown touting the exciting update. The letter also encourages fans to prepare for the return of the show in 2026 when Season 4 premieres. Needless to say, it was a very exciting day for Bridgerton fans.

The cast of Bridgerton has arrived at the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday (February 23) at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

The stars of the Netflix hit are nominated for their third season in the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series category. In addition, Nicola Coughlan is nominated in the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series category for her performance as Penelope Featherington.

The Screen Actors Guild Awards are taking place on Sunday in downtown Los Angeles. TheWrap will update the list of winners as they are announced.

“Wicked” went into the show leading all films with five nominations, followed by “A Complete Unknown” with four and “Anora” and “Emilia Perez” with two.

In the television categories, “Shōgun” led with five nominations, followed by “The Bear” with four and “The Diplomat” and “The Penguin” with three.

Over the 30-year history of the SAG Awards, individual winners in the film categories have gone on to win Academy Awards for acting 75% of the time. All four SAG winners have repeated at the Oscars 10 times, with eight of those times coming in the last 15 years.

The winning film in the SAG Awards’ ensemble-cast category has won the Oscar for Best Picture about half the time, including the last three years in a row and four times in the last five years.

Daisy Ridley, the lead actor in the new Star Wars trilogy, has a new movie coming out on February 21, 2025. The title is Cleaner,and per the actor's claims,she felt very alone during the production of the film. However, it wasn't because she willingly stayed away from the rest of the cast and crew. It was because the film's plot called for her character to be alone most of the time.

Excursions to a galaxy far, far away aside, Daisy Ridley’s career of late has been refreshingly grounded with projects of all scales. From the modest but fiendishly entertaining domestic thriller “Magpie” to the soulful office dramedy “Sometimes I Think About Dying” and the inspirational sports movie “Young Woman and the Sea,” the wide-ranging filmography Ridley has been recently building on her own terms stretches across biting indies and classical family blockbusters alike.

With director and James Bond veteran Martin Campbell’s “Cleaner,” Ridley further expands her repertoire with an old-fashioned and pressure-cooker action flick, dangling from the glass façade of a skyscraper to give both Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt and Bruce Willis’ John McClane a run for their money. Bridgerton‘s annual Season of Love celebration unleashed new details on the upcoming fourth season, including confirmation that fan favorite Simone Ashley will return as Kate Sharma, Anthony Bridgerton’s wife. The virtual fan celebration included a new teaser for the much-anticipated season that focuses on the relationship between Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha).

New photos were released from the masquerade ball, which will be featured in episode one. The photos also show new season four cast members Katie Leung as Lady Araminta Gun, Michelle Mao as Rosamund Li, and Isabella Wei as Posy Li.

Showrunner Jess Brownell confirmed season four will include more characters who “run the ton.” Fans will also be treated to much more of the Queen’s right-hand man, Brimsley, played by Hugh Sachs.

Netflix rolled out the First Look photos for Season 4 of their hit series, Bridgerton!

On Friday (February 14), members of the cast and fans got together for the Bridgerton: Season of Love Q&a and Immersive Dinner in London, England. During it, Season 4 leads Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha made their red carpet debut together.

The pair also take center stage in some newly released photos and a BTS teaser from the set of the show.

Bridgerton premiered in 2020 on Netflix, and it has been a major phenomenon since then. The Regency-era series is based on Julia Quinn's book series of the same name and follows the eponymous wealthy family.

Every season, Bridgerton followed a different main couple, starting with Daphne and Simon in Season 1, Anthony and Kate in Season 2, and, most recently, Colin and Penelope in Season 3. The show is already renewed for Season 4, which will finally put the rightful Bridgerton sibling in the spotlight — Benedict, whose story was canonically explored in the third installment of the book series, instead of Colin's. To celebrate Valentine's Day, Netflix held a fan event celebrating the "Season of Love," and it introduced the first look at Season 4's main couple, Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie Baek.

“Bridgerton” book fans, our moment has arrived. At a fan event for Netflix’s global romantic phenomenon on Valentine’s Day, the show confirmed that the eight-episode Season 4 will kick off with a masquerade ball in Episode 1. That event was teased in “Bridgerton’s” Season 3 finale back in June 2024, and book fans know it’s the inciting incident for Benedict’s (Luke Thompson) love story, with a Cinderella-esque mysterious meet-cute with Sophie (series newcomer Yerin Ha).
