After serving in the Air Force, he worked in the high-tech industry in
Silicon Valley. His career in film and television began as an extra on
the Don Johnson series Nash Bridges during the first season, and has
performed additional extra work on numerous films, including George of
the Jungle, Sphere, The Wedding Planner and Patch Adams. He has been a
stand-in and/or photo-double in several films as well for actors such
as Robin Williams, Thomas Jane and Stephen Root. You may also see him
from time to time in commercials and magazine advertisements for
companies such as Ford, Bank of America, Lexus, Washington Mutual,
Charles Schwab, Allstate and Zocor. Since November 2005 Jake has been
working and living in Kuwait, contracting with the Department of
Defense in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
