John Gilbert is an Emmy award winning picture editor with over thirty
years experience editing both television and feature films. John studied film
production at California State University, Long Beach graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in film in 1987.
John also spends tax season helping fellow editors and other film professionals with tax preparation. John also volunteers for the city of Los Angeles Fire Department's community (CERT) spending hours assisting local firefighters during wildfires and other emergency incidents. In the Los Angeles area John is a sworn disaster worker. Being a licensed amateur radio operator, John has achieved the FCC's amateur extra operator status. John is an avid runner in Los Angeles.
