- I have trouble relating to the art of acting strictly as commerce. It's certainly not like buying a pair of shoes for a dollar and selling them for two. To me acting in films is an honor and a privilege hard fought for and rarely achieved. It is in many ways sacred and I hate to see the industry (and the people who run it) carving it up and wrapping it all around the dollar. To me a good actor should be paid no more than a good plummer. Acting can be a very pure expression of the human spirit. When people start equating such an intimate personal art form with big business I must admit I get a little chilly.
- Forget yourself. Live for others and God will never forget you.
- Acting is an incredible life privilege. I have trouble with people thinking of it only as a business. To be really honest, acting is a hell of a lot bigger than any money, period.
- Real beauty is doing the very best with what God gave you.
