Warning! Spoilers for All-New Venom #9 ahead!
Marvel'smost loathed relationship, between Mary Jane Watson and her boyfriend Paul, is officially over. As Mary Jane continues to acclimate to her role as the newest host of the Venom symbiote, she has come to terms with the need for another major change in her life: moving away from a relationship that isn't working for anybody.
All-New Venom #9, by the creative team of Al Ewing and Carlos Gómez, concludes with the dramatic break-up scene between Mj and Paul.
It is a legitimately emotional scene, as Paul tries to keep Mary Jane from leaving him, but for the majority of Marvel fans, this turn of events is a cause for celebration, rather than sorrow.
After Years Of Criticism From Fans, Marvel Finally Breaks Up Mary Jane And Paul All-New Venom #9 by The Creative Team Of Al Ewing, Carlos Gómez, Frank D'Armata, And Clayton Cowles

Not too long ago, Venom fans received confirmation from Marvel that Knull, the King in Black and Symbiote God, is returning from the dead. His official comeback is set for the milestone Venom #250 (2025), arriving just in time for Spooky Season. Now, Marvel is raising the excitement even higher with brand-new cover art that teases a surprising development.
Marvel recently shared an exclusive with Aipt Comics featuring an epic cover by artist Jerome Opeña for Al Ewing and Terry Dodson’s upcoming Venom #250, which hits comic book shelves on October 1, 2025.
Previously released cover art and the official synopsis for this issue already teased Knull’s return to the Marvel Universe, which came as a major surprise since he was supposedly killed by Eddie Brock, with the story implying that nothing could bring him back. Marvel has since offered a chilling explanation, stating that “Knull rules over nothing.” However, Opeña’s new...

In a surprise change to Marvel lore, The Fantastic Four: First Steps will handle Invisible Woman's powers differently to the original Fantastic Four comics. Marvel's new reveal confirms that Sue's powers won't be depicted as fans of the comic might have expected, with a significant change to Vanessa Kirby's Sue Storm compared to her comic origin.
Marvel just revealed a preview of The Fantastic Four: First Steps #1- an McU-canon comic showing the heroes' early days after gaining their powers. This 100% movie canon comic depicts their earliest adventures after gaining their powers, but Sue is very different to her original comic treatment.
In the comic, Sue takes down her arguing family by manifesting invisible globes around their heads, cutting off their air supply. In the comics, this ability to generate force fields took a whopping twenty years to manifest, showing that the MCU is making some major changes to the team's original comic continuity.

Marvel's All-New Venom is teaming up with one of the greatest symbiote superheroes of all time.
A preview for All-New Venom #7 from Marvel Comics drops readers into the middle of Central Park, where Mary Jane Watson and Flash Thompson are reuniting for a long-overdue discussion. As it turns out, Flash has been keeping his eye on Mj from afar, and not in any way she particularly appreciates. Of course, Flash had no intention of being untoward, especially not where one of his oldest friends is concerned. Warning: Spoilers ahead for Fantastic Four #32!
The most powerful superhero in the Marvel Universe, Franklin Richards of the Fantastic Four, just unlocked his ultimate form, as he has used his god-like abilities to transform into the Fantastic Four’s greatest villain, Galactus. While it’s true Reed Richards and Sue Storm’s son has taken the form of the Devourer of Worlds, Franklin Richards' version of the cosmic giant is already proving to be vastly more powerful.
In Fantastic Four #32, written by Ryan North, with art by Cory Smith, the Fantastic Four have messed with the fabric of time, trying to restore Ben Grimm’s powers, subsequently creating a reality where the Fantastic Four never received enough radiation to gain their powers. Valeria Richards awakens in this reality, where her superhero parents are completely normal; yet, she soon realizes that her brother, Franklin Richards, is Galactus and the world’s only hero.

All-new Venom Editor Breaks Down [Spoiler] Being Venom And Reveals The Suspects We Didn't Get To See
Al Ewing and Carlos Gómez's All-New Venom has so far revolved around the secret identity of Venom's "all-new" host.
Following the clues alongside Dylan Brock, we've ruled out various suspects over the months, including the characters originally named as the four main possibilities: Luke Cage, Madame Masque, Rick Jones, and Robbie Robertson.
While fans became nearly certain the new symbiote hero was the hugely unpopular Paul Rabin, this week's All-New Venom #5 reveals the shocking truth that it's his girlfriend and occasional superhero Jackpot, Mary Jane Watson.
Talking to Aipt, Venom editor Jordan D. White was asked why Marvel Comics decided to have Mj become the Venom Symbiote's latest host.
"We started with the idea of a mystery host, and there was a dinner where we started throwing around ideas for who the host could be," he started. "So while we didn’t kick off the whole idea of the book with Mj in place,...

It has been months since Marvel teased the existence of an All-New Venom completely independent of the symbiote’s previous hosts. While Marvel and the series have been tactically placing teases and false leads to the host’s secret identity, nothing solid has been revealed yet. However, Marvel has finally revealed which comic issue readers will finally discover Venom’s identity as well the issue’s mysterious cover art.
In a post on X, Marvel Comics HQ revealed the cover image for All-New Venom #5 – written by Al Ewing, with art by Carlos Gómez – which promises to reveal the secret identity of Venom’s new host. While the comic series has presented four possible options, most fans aren’t really certain who it is.
Writer Al Ewing and Marvel have slipped in false leads already; the vague clues and overt yet useless hints have been meant to turn readers in every which way.

Fan-favorite NHL mascot Gritty may have just made a surprising appearance in Marvel Comics, debuting as a dastardly villain and ready to go up against the all-new Venom. The mystery of the All-New Venom has officially kicked off in Marvel Comics, and I’m pretty sure there’s a shocking suspect hiding in plain sight. There are four characters strongly teased as the symbiote’s potential new host, but Mary Jane Watson’s introduction in the series makes me suspicious. When Marvel announced a new version of Venom that would be introduced, it put forth four major suspects as to who could be the next host, and none of them have been ruled out yet.

Who is the All-New Venom? Following the recent Venom War event, writer Al Ewing is spinning his symbiote saga into a brand new ongoing series alongside superstar artist Carlos Gómez.
Hitting stands next week, the series will see the Venom symbiote bond to a host very different than any he's had in history. The mystery of Venom's identity will unfold over the title's first arc, and when the secret is finally revealed, it will supposedly "shock readers and Marvel heroes alike."
As for who might be wearing the alien suit, Madame Masque, Robbie Robertson, Rick Jones, and Luke Cage are the confirmed candidates, with the latter three teased in this first look at the issue (courtesy of some very on-the-nose dialogue which sees them each hint that they might have a certain alien up their respective sleeves).
As for which of them will eventually be revealed as the All-New Venom.

Marvel Comics “Fantastic Four” #25, available November 2024, is written by Ryan North and illustrated by Carlos Gómez, with covers by Sean Galloway, Joshua Cassara, Greg Cappulo and Greg Land:
“…when an excursion to ‘Latveria’ sends the ‘Fantastic Four’ to an alien world, they have to work just to survive — and to make their way back to Earth.
“But that won’t be easy on a world so unlike our own and with an alien civilization hundreds of years behind where we are, not made any easier when ‘Johnny Storm’ hooks up with one of the aliens.
“And that’s before this world’s terrible secret is revealed, with billions of lives depending on what the ‘Fantastic Four’ decide next…”

Peter Parker, a.k.a. the Amazing Spider-Man, was the first person to bond with the Venom Symbiote. Next was Eddie Brock and, when Marvel Comics felt that character had run his course, the alien suit was passed to Mac Gargan and later "Agent Venom" Flash Thompson.
Eddie would eventually regain his alien other, though recent years have seen him become a true anti-hero.
Now, in the wake of Venom War - which has seen Eddie and his son, Dylan, butt heads - the Marvel Universe is getting an All-New Venom comic.
Al Ewing will write the series, while Carlos Gómez is on art duties; however, the biggest difference in All-New Venom will be that the Lethal Protector is getting a new host and an Earthbound story which brings the character back to his roots after years of cosmic, universe-altering adventures.

Taylor Swift has conquered the world of music, and it's long been rumored that the next step in her career is the movies.
She has her own eponymous production company, for one. In 2020, she starred in the documentary "Miss Americana," and in 2021, she directed a short film adapting her song "All Too Well," starring Sadie Sink and Dylan O'Brien. Aside from a handful of supporting roles in several films, she also took the 2023 box office by storm with the "Eras Tour" concert film.
Swift has a passionate fanbase, one that is famous for finding (or creating) supposedly hidden messages across her lyrics. Now, her newly released 11th album, "The Tortured Poets Department," has whipped up a new Swiftie theory.
The last track of "The Tortured Poets Department" — "Clara Bow" — concludes with the line: "The future's bright and dazzling." Fans jumped to the obvious conclusion; of course, Swift is hinting to...

The Fantastic Four are discovering new, powerful ways to utilize their abilities, with Invisible Woman emerging as a key player.

Marvel Comics just revealed that the Human Torch has the power to create invisible fireballs by manipulating his flame's light, making it ultraviolet. Johnny Storm proved how he can manipulate his flame's light in Fantastic Four #18, as he did so to create a super laser with his sister, Invisible Woman. While he hasn't used it yet, the Human Torch's ability to create invisible fireballs is a huge win for the Fantastic Four, as it's an attack their enemies literally won't see coming.
Warning: Contains Spoilers for Fantastic Four #18! The Human Torch is perhaps the strongest member of the Fantastic Four in terms of the raw power he can summon and manipulate through his cosmic-ray-induced mutation alone. Johnny Storm isn’t as smart as Mr. Fantastic, or as physically strong as the Thing, or as resourceful/tactical as the Invisible Woman, but when it comes to pure, unadulterated power, the Human Torch has them all beat.

The Thing's rocky skin grants him the power to create illusions when combined with Invisible Woman's abilities. Sue and Johnny's super laser, utilizing their powers, obliterates invisible asteroids threatening Earth, which is an example of how strong the Fantastic Four can be when they combine their powers. Marvel continues to innovate the Fantastic Four, revealing surprising power combinations.

At the Walt Disney Co., the CFO job has long been intertwined with rumors of succession.
In an earlier era, Tom Staggs had been Disney’s CFO, before moving to oversee its parks business and then to the COO position, where he was widely seen as a possible successor to Bob Iger.
Jay Rasulo, who succeeded Staggs as CFO, stepped down from the role after Staggs’ promotion to COO, as the Iger deputies grappled over who would become second-in-command to Iger, the entertainment industry’s honorary captain.
Neither of those executives are still with Disney. And yet nearly a decade later, Iger is still in charge in his second tour as CEO, and the CFO role is once again throwing a wrench in Disney’s succession drama.
Christine McCarthy, who was named Disney’s CFO in 2015 following Rasulo’s resignation, said on June 15 that she would take a family medical leave of absence,...

Warning: Potential spoilers for Rogue & Gambit ahead! In a potentially upsetting move, Marvel is setting the stage to make or break X-Men's most beloved couple, Rogue and Gambit during the course of their newly-launched series, Rogue & Gambit.
The infamous couple has a long and tumultuous history, breaking up and getting back together multiple times since their first meeting in the '90s. Although it was "lust at first sight" between the two heroes, the unlikely partnership developed into long-lasting love, with the two finally getting married in 2017's X-Men: Gold #30. Rogue & Gambit - written by Stephanie Phillips with art by Carlos Gómez and David Curiel - focuses on the "happy couple" as they embark on a mission given to them by Rogue's precognitive mother Destiny, involving the mutant Avenger Manifold. A new solicit from League of Comic Geeks for issue #3 of the series hints that after, "Gambit discovers Rogue’s been keeping secrets,...

Between the two characters who carry the Wolverine mantle, readers have often pondered and debated as to who is the strongest of the two: Logan or Laura? Truth be told, both characters have valid reasons as to why fans may take one over the other. For starters, Logan obviously has an edge when it comes to public favor considering that he is the original and longest-tenured Wolverine. Readers have watched the rabid Logan wreak havoc across the Marvel Universe for far longer than Laura.

As the former X-23, Laura was built and raised to be a weapon, unlike her father before her who grew into being a weapon rather than being born as one. Laura has shown to be just as deadly and savage as her father in the past,...
