“The Umbrella Academy” just signed off with its fourth and final season, and the Netflix series brought it all to an end with a happy reunion — of sorts. The series ends with a singular, happier timeline created thanks to the Hargreeves siblings’ sacrifice – and it’s full of familiar faces.

After the siblings realize that the marigold giving them their powers is also what’s causing the world to end repeatedly, they agree to let The Cleanse erase them from ever existing. This results in one unified, seemingly much better timeline.

The show ends with a pan around a park where we see a number of familiar faces from the series’ run; all living much better, safer lives. Showrunner Steve Blackman told TheWrap it was a lot of phone calls, but he ended up getting almost everyone he wanted for the scene.

Another new episode of Accused airs tonight on Fox. Accused Episode 10, “Esme’s Story,” was directed by Michael Offer and written by Chip Johannessen. According to the synopsis, the eye-opening episode will follow a young woman who survives a white nationalist’s attempt to stop a peaceful protest by driving his car into the crowd. The Slasher franchise is evolving.

The latest chapter in the thrilling anthology is headed to Shudder, and we have our first deadly look.

Premiering August 12 on Shudder, Slasher: Flesh & Blood follows a wealthy but dysfunctional family that gathers for a reunion on a secluded island only to learn they’ll be pitted against one another in a cruel game of life and death, all while being stalked by a mysterious masked killer.

Nothing is what it seems, and no one is safe as the tension- and the body count- ratchets up.

As with the past installments of the series, Slasher: Flesh & Blood will combine elements of traditional murder mystery with the intense horror and bold kills that audiences have come to expect.

Shudder announced today that it has teamed up with award-winning production company Shaftesbury to make a new eight-episode installment of the hugely popular horror series.

Slasher: Flesh & Blood will stream exclusively on horror platform Shudder in the US, Australia, and New Zealand in 2021.

Shudder will also be the streaming home for Flesh & Blood in Canada, the UK and Ireland following its linear premieres in those countries.

The series will be broadcast exclusively on Hollywood Suite in Canada.

Production is already underway in Ontario, Canada.

Scanners and Videodrome director David Cronenberg is to star in a new series of horror anthology Slasher for AMC streaming service Shudder.

The streamer has ordered a new eight-episode instalment of the series, which has run for three seasons on platforms including Chiller and Netflix.

Slasher: Flesh & Blood, produced by Canadian production company Shaftesbury, will air exclusively on Shudder in the U.S., Australia and New Zealand in 2021 with second window runs in the UK and Ireland and Canada, where it will first air on Hollywood Suite. Canadian network City has canceled the Sunnyside TV series after its first season. Co-creator and co-showrunner Gary Pearson has confirmed the news. Last night, he announced there would not be a second season of Sunnyside, via Facebook.

A sketch variety show, the cast of Sunnyside includes: Pat Thornton, Patrice Goodman, Alice Moran, Kevin Vidal, Kathleen Phillips and Rob Norman. Norm MacDonald appears in voice form. Pearson's counterpart is Dan Redican.
