Hallmark+’s The Chicken Sisters follows two warring mom and pop friend chicken restaurants: Mimi’s and Frannie’s. The feud between the restaurants arose long ago when the founders of each had a falling out.
In present-day fictional Merinac, modeled after the setting of Kj Dell’Anotnia’s book of the same name, complications have further arisen between the two single women who continue to run the restaurants, passed down to them from their ancestors. A reality food network-like show comes to town to capture the dueling dynasties, and secrets are unearthed as tensions arise.
The series contains several recognizable artists and a whole bunch of songs that fit the atmosphere of the show. Find a complete soundtrack list — put together by music supervisor Angela Asistio — including songs from Boygenius, Linda Ronstadt, The Lumineers, Wild Rivers and more.

Via the blog Anakin + His Angel, which gave an exclusive first look at the garment, this day dress is made of royal-hued fabric with gorgeous purple and a deep green together to give the wearer a regal feeling. The belt is gorgeous, recreating Satine's belt from The Clone Wars. The red is carefully stitched with black patterns for that classic Art Deco look the Mandalorians were known for in the series. Seven white pillars surround it at the top to complete the look.
And the best part? It Has Pockets! Anyone who has ever...

Warning: This article contains Major Spoilers for Netflix's Nobody Wants This.
Netflix's Nobody Wants This includes a phenomenal score and an exceptional soundtrack that helps create a fun and entertaining rom-com to make hopeless romantics swoon. From Nobody Wants This' trailer, it was immediately clear thatAdam Brody and Kristen Bell's new series would explore the difficulties that can come with interfaith relationships. By bringing together an exceptional cast and a strong creative team, the Netflix series elevates the story.
However, the true magic in Nobody Wants This is the beautiful scoring and soundtrack. Composer Duncan Blickenstaff wrote an incredible score that swells, accelerates, and simmers at all the perfect moments, investing the audience in Noah and Joanne's love story. On top of the original score, the carefully curated soundtrack, which includes Anna Graves and Olivia Rodrigo, shapes the setting and character arcs. Ultimately, Nobody Wants This thrives thanks...

Heartbreak anthems from Olivia Rodrigo, a love song from Rihanna and even a few bat mitzvah bangers round out the 10-episode series’ soundtrack.
Created by Erin Foster, the Netflix series also features breakout performances from “Veep” actor Timothy Simons and “Succession” star Justine Lupe.

Maren Morris is back with another new song, “I Hope I Never Fall in Love,” from her upcoming EP Intermission.
The song is anchored by a slowed-down take on the classic drumbeat from the Ronettes’ “Be My Baby,” but — as the song’s title suggests — Morris is more interested in stepping on lovestruck fantasies than embracing them. “Ooh, I’m a woman of my word/Love, you only did me dirty,” Morris sings on the bridge, as the song builds to an exhilarating peak, “Forever was a fucking lie, so...

"The Mandalorian" season 3 penultimate, episode, "The Spies," finally gathers factions of Mandalorians to retake their home planet of Mandalore. This rattles Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) because if conflicting Mandalorian factions are organizing instead of remaining divided, then they will be a force to reckon with.
The titular Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) hails from a significant faction: The Children of the Watch. Throughout "The Mandalorian," he has loyally served the sect that rescued him from a Separatist army on his home planet and raised him on Concordia. He based his virtues on their creed: raise foundlings with care, protect his fellow Mandalorian, and keep his helmet on. As his counselor and chieftain, the cryptic Armorer (Emily Swallow) often tested him on his relationship to his Mandalorian piety, counseled him with answers, and forged his beskar armor and weaponry.

If there's one thing the Naboo Queen-Senator Padmé Amidala has taught us in the "Star Wars" galaxy, you're not a true politician unless you're worthy of the fashion runway. Her iconic prequel trilogy wardrobe blazed a fashion trail for her fellow galactic politicians — and cosplayers at Star Wars Celebration.
"The Mandalorian" season 3 continues Padmé's fashionista legacy by introducing a regentess played by singer Lizzo (who herself graces the concert stage as a dancing and flute-playing fashion icon). In season 3, episode 6 "Guns for Hire," Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), his adorable foundling Grogu, and Lady Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff) venture to Plazir-15 where they are greeted by its lavish regents, the Duchess and Captain Bombardier (Jack Black). The Mandalorians — save for the enchanted Grogu — find themselves weirded out by the upper-crust atmosphere and out of place in their beskar armor.

Anna Graves, the Minnesota-born singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who composes with the candor of a late-night conversation where nothing is off the table, is introduced on “Easy For You,” her first single. Revealing an honesty and vulnerability that seeps through the cracks between dusty acoustic guitar and sparse production like glimmers of light underneath a locked door, “Easy For You” is the first music from her upcoming debut EP, Ghostland.
Anna bares the roots of “Easy For You.” “It was inspired by a relationship that ended when I was in Nashville, and it haunted me,” she admits. “It devastated me, my ex was talking mad shit about me. It hurt. I lived to make other people happy. So, it felt like anything they said about me was true – even if it wasn’t. The only thing I could do was say, ‘If that’s the way you cope, do what...

Throughout the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy, Rey’s parentage was one of the most widely-discussed plot points. Following The Force Awakens, speculation was running rampant about how the supposed nobody would end up being connected to the wider mythology, because big budget blockbusters don’t drop hints like that without having some kind of major revelation in store.
However, by the time The Last Jedi arrived, Rian Johnson made it pretty clear that he had absolutely no interest whatsoever in continuing that particular story thread, and had Kylo Ren reveal in an off-handed manner that she wasn’t anyone important and had simply lucked her way into becoming a key part of the Resistance and fighting alongside some of the most famous faces in the galaxy.
Then J.J. Abrams returned for The Rise of Skywalker and attempted to retcon as much as humanly possible from the previous installment, and decided...

Title: "Duchess of Mandalore"
Writer/Director: Drew Z. Greenberg / Brian Kalin O'Connell
Tagline: "In war, truth is the first casualty."
Story: The three-episode Mandalorian arc closes with "Duchess," but we'll likely see more of the fan-favorite people before too long. Duchess Satine (Anna Graves) arrives safely on Coruscant with her entourage and Jedi escort Obi-Wan Kenobi (James Arnold Taylor), only to face a danger of a different stripe: the Republic Senate. The current item on their docket is deciding whether or not a Republic occupation of neutral Mandalore is necessary in order to halt the expansion of the Death Watch. Chancellor Palpatine (Ian Abercrombie) might just get his way too, after a recording surfaces that indicates Satine may not be as in control of her people as she believes.
A Fanbase Divided: As far as these episodes go, there are two kinds of fans: the people who appreciate how the...

Lucasfilm's "Duchess of Mandalore" is the February 12 episode of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars".
"...'Duchess Satine Kryze' tries to keep the 'Republic' from interfering in 'Mandalorian' affairs after attacks by the 'Death Watch', the splinter group advocating a return to the old warrior ways.
But when Satine herself is attacked and framed, she sets off -- against the better judgment of her 'Jedi' protectors -- to uncover the full breadth of the conspiracy and the faction's true origins.
No longer content to operate from the fringes, the mysterious Mandalorian Death Watch now sets its sights on the Duchess..."
"Satine is struggling with many fires now, and trying to keep them from merging into one large inferno that can't be put out," said actress Anna Graves, the voice of 'Satine' in The Clone Wars.

Another season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars is coming to a close and the universe of Star Wars is continuing to expand. Since episode 11, "The Mandalore Plot," we've been delving deeper into the world of the Mandalorians. Now, Duchess Satine Kryze will try to keep the Republic from interfering in Mandalorian affairs after attacks by the Death Watch, the splinter group advocating a return to the old warrior ways. "Satine is struggling with many fires now, and trying to keep them from merging into one large inferno that can't be put out,” says Anna Graves, the voice of Satine in The Clone Wars. “She wants peace above all else, and will shout it as loud as she can. Historical pacifists are often met with more hatred and violence, but that seems to push someone like Satine to fight for peace even harder. I think with any culture that ...
