Jamie Greenberg at an event for Future '38 (2017)
Jamie Greenberg was born very early in life, after which he dried off and then attended Cornell University.

Mr. Greenberg recently completed his first feature film, Stags, which he wrote and directed. Stags shot for 30 days in NYC and was produced by independent film pioneer Ben Barenholtz.

Mr. Greenberg's short film Pillowfighter won both the "Grand Jury" and "Best Director" Awards in the NY International Independent Film Festival, and was an Official Selection in the Montreal Comedy Festival/"Just For Laughs". It also won the "Best Film" prize in the First Sundays Comedy Film Fest, and was a featured selection in Gen Art's Ignite! festival.

His short Taxi Dancer was selected by Gen Art/IFC to accompany the feature comedy The Baxter on its Special Advance Screenings tour.

Before getting into film, Mr. Greenberg's career as a TV Writer/Producer spanned over a ninth of a century. He co-created PBS' Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego, for which he was nominated for 2 "Oustanding Children's Series" Emmy Awards, and wrote for all 5 seasons of its predecessor show, Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?. He wrote for various other wholesome children's programs and is proud to have been a Story Producer on Michael Moore's acclaimed series TV Nation.

On the other side of the karmic ledger, Mr. Greenberg was Senior Writer on a variety of MTV special programs, including Wanna Be A VJ, Total Britney Live, MTV Spring Break, and many more. Yes, someone actually writes those things. He also co-created and wrote MTV's terrible hit show Lip Service, for which he won the "Best Game Show" CableACE Award. Mr. Greenberg has been to three MTV Spring Breaks, with no visible outward signs of lasting damage.

Mr. Greenberg is also a performer. He had featured roles in over 50 episodes of Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego (he is perhaps the only actor ever to have essayed the roles of Simon Bolivar, Abraham Lincoln, and a Talking Head of Lettuce in the same season). He has perpetrated hidden-camera prank stunts on several MTV specials and TBS' late-night show Impostor.

As an on-camera personality, he recently hosted 27 segments for the History Channel's "Object Of The Week" web series. He spent a year as Senior Correspondent on Court TV's irreverent and unwatched comedy/news program Snap Judgment, produced by Lizz Winstead. His segments were frequently featured on E!'s Talk Soup.

He has performed in many heroically unprofitable NYC live shows, including the weekly variety show Giant Tuesday Night, and wrote and hosted the live alternative comedy game show Fact In The Head.

He produced and hosted the Manhattan Public Access cult favorite Media Shower, a show based on strange and humorous "found" footage. The late great Joey Ramone once called Mr. Greenberg a "chimp" in reference to this show.

In his spare time, Mr. Greenberg enjoys writing about himself in the third person.
