In Harry Potter, Prefects are brilliant students who are chosen to keep an eye on the younger witches and wizards. During the students' fifth year at Hogwarts, the Headmaster chooses the most talented and well-behaved boy and girl in each house to honor them with this position.
However, not all prefects are great wizards and witches.
