ABC’s Shark Tank this season will welcome a pair of fixer-uppers.

New guest sharks poised to make a splash during Season 17 include Chip and Joanna Gaines, the HGTV superstars who went on to create the media brand Magnolia; Michael Strahan, GMA co-anchor and Smac co-founder; poppi founder Allison Ellsworth; Reddit co-founder/venture capitalist Alexis Ohanian; and Uncle Nearest founder Fawn Weaver.

The Netflix thriller series “Trinity” is adding seven recurring cast members, Variety has learned.

The new additions to the cast are: Bruce Greenwood as Special Agent Eric Colby, Robert Wisdom as Admiral Griff Tatum, Kirk Acevedo as Captain Jock Campbell, Ben Cotton as Special Agent Jake Ryan, James Remar as President Paul Barnard, Jason Ralph as Brooks Vandenburg, and Mark O’Brien as Dr. Brian York.

The new additions will star alongside previously announced series regulars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Richard Madden, Marcia Gay Harden, and Jd Pardo.

“Trinity” was originally announced in June with an eight-episode order. The official logline for the series states, “A heroic female Naval Officer (Mbatha-Raw) becomes involved with the outwardly charismatic Secretary of Defense (Madden), only to discover he may be at the heart of a dangerous conspiracy.”

Jed Mercurio serves as writer, executive producer, and showrunner on the series under his Hat Trick Mercurio (Htm) banner.

The recurring cast of Netflix’s Trinity is taking shape with the addition of 7 actors: James Remar, Robert Wisdom, Bruce Greenwood, Kirk Acevedo, Ben Cotton, Jason Ralph and Mark O’Brien.

They join the previously announced series regulars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Richard Madden, Marcia Gay Harden and Jd Pardo.

Prior to the show's cancellation, speculation was quite high, and The Resident featured atop the standings for shows which viewers wanted to save. That did not materialize at the time, but now, those conversations have been reignited.

Two years after its cancellation, co-creator Amy Holden Jones and executive producer Andrew Chapman recently spoke about what would have happened had the show persisted into a seventh season. Beginning July 1, Déjà Vu will be available to stream on Tubi. Set in New Orleans, the 2006 movie stars Washington as Atf Special Agent Douglas Carlin, who travels back in time in an attempt to prevent a domestic terrorist attack and save the woman he's fallen in love with. Val Kilmer and Bruce Greenwood co-star as FBI special agents, with Paula Patton and Jim Caviezel rounding out the main cast as Claire Kuchever and Carroll Oerstadt, respectively. Despite mixed reviews from critics, Déjà Vu was a commercial success, grossing $180.6 million worldwide against its $75 million production budget.

Based on the 1950s book of the same name by Isaac Asimov, I, Robot stars Smith as Del Spooner, a Chicago detective biased against robots; he suffers from survivor's guilt because the robot who rescued him didn't rescue a young girl in an accident. This movie takes place in the year 2035, in a world where humanoid robots serve humanity, but that changes following the murder of Dr. Alfred Lanning. This post contains spoilers from Dark Winds season 3 episode 8, “Béésh Lii” (Iron Horse).

The season finale of Dark Winds wastes no time catching up with the fraud Dr. Reynolds (John Diehl). Teddi Issacs (Carly Roland) was on the cusp of gathering her belongings and getting away, but Reynolds appeared in the nick of time with a proposal from a friend to bankroll another dig site for them. By this time, of course, Teddi no longer trusts him. Not only is he a crooked researcher, he’s a self-made murderer. Try as she might to render herself free from the man, he overpowers her even with his aged strength. In a flash Teddi’s head is brutally bashed against the hotel room table, instantly killing her.

Gordo (A. Martinez) and Leaphorn (Zahn McClarnon) find the blood-riddled vehicle of Dr. Reynolds. And much to their surprise, they find Teddi Issacs dead in the trunk.

Leaphorn and Chee may be taking an unplanned trip to Reno, as Dark Winds brings Season 3 to a thrilling close this Sunday at 9/8c.

When last we tuned into the acclaimed AMC/AMC+ period drama, Navajo tribal police Lt. Joe Leaphorn (played by TVLine Performer of the Week Zahn McClarnon) came to realize that archeologist Dr. Reynolds (Christopher Heyerdahl) had been seeding his dig site with artifact fragments. Reynolds had in turn killed Ernesto and now is hunting George Bowlegs, after the kids stumbled across his handiwork late one night.

AMC's adaptation of Graham Roland’s critically acclaimed Navajo-centered psychological thriller, Dark Winds has begun its third season run. The show has seen the return of Zahn McClarnon as Joe Leaphorn, a lieutenant and veteran of the tribal police. It has been a tough season for Leaphorn so far, as the officer struggles with the guilt of having to turn executioner with regard to B.J. Vines (John Diehl) in Season 2. Leaphorn's partner and trusty assistant, Jim Chee (Kiowa Gordon), has returned to the force, and the younger officer is oblivious to the truth regarding Vines' death.

The show's latest episode is titled "Ch'į́į́dii (Ghosts)" and Special Agent Sylvia Washington (Jenna Elfman) has found Vines' body in the desert, triggering a bout of guilt for Joe, some of it supernatural. Jim is sure to notice and Gordon has since discussed how his character's relationship with Joe has evolved amid the suspicion.

Here’s a trivia question for everyone: What’s the connection between Star Trek: The Original Series and the movies The Goonies, Throw Momma from the Train, and Scrooged? The answer is… Logan Ramsey, the late, great character actor whose career spanned from 1948 to 1999 and who would have turned 104 on March 21, 2025.

Dark Winds has returned to AMC+ with a strong debut for Season 3.

Per AMC, the third season’s premiere episode attracted 2.2M viewers in the first three days of availability, which is up more than 50% in viewership over the Season 2 premiere.

The latest season has also doubled subscriber acquisition compared to the previous season, indicating a strong growth trajectory and bodes well for the already renewed series as Season 4 begins filming this month.

Dark Winds has added a major player to the cast for season 4. The AMC thriller series, which is based on the Leaphorn & Chee books by Tony Hillerman, follows Joe Leaphorn (Zahn McClarnon), Bernadette Manuelito (Jessica Matten), and Jim Chee (Kiowa Gordon), a trio of Navajo Tribal Police officers who work in the Four Corners region. The show, which is so popular that Dark Winds season 4 was renewed before season 3 even premiered, has featured appearances by a variety of stars, including Rainn Wilson, Bruce Greenwood, Jenna Elfman, and Jeri Ryan.

Per Deadline, Franka Potente has joined the cast of Dark Winds season 4 in the season's first new guest role, playing an as-yet unknown character. The German actor has most recently been seen another AMC series, Mayfair Witches, playing the role of Annamieke, who is a member of the secret society Talamasca, in two episodes of season 2 of the Anne Rice's Immortal Universe series.

There will be more Dark Winds on AMC.

The network has renewed the thriller for a fourth season. The news comes ahead of the premiere of its third season on March 9.

Season 4 of the series, which stars Zahn McClarnon, will begin filming in Santa Fe, Nm, in March and will air in 2026.

Much like Season 3, it will consist of eight episodes. Seasons 1 and 2 had six episodes each.

The news is not a huge surprise given the boost that Dark Winds seems to have gotten from its airing on Netflix. The first two seasons of the show are currently on the streamer and after they dropped in August, they remained in Netflix’s top 10 for over three weeks. Dark Winds also aired on Warner Bros. Discovery’s Max as part of a two-month pop-up in 2023.

Season four will also feature the directorial debut of star and exec producer McClarnon.

The company has renewed the series, based on Tony Hillerman’s Leaphorn & Chee novels, for a fourth season. The pickup comes about two weeks before the March 9 premiere of season three on AMC and streamer AMC+.
