The anime superhero film directed by Junpei Mizusaki and Shinji Takagi is currently at #3, standing tall behind Sinners and A Minecraft Movie. Written by Kazuki Nakashima, the movie...

What Is the Cross Guild in One Piece & Who Are Its Members?
Image
The only one of the remaining Emperor of the Sea in One Piece is Red Haired Shanks. The other three have all been toppled and replaced by younger, more active pirates. Monkey D. Luffy is first called an Emperor for defying Big Mom. He earns the position through toppling Kaido. Blackbeard stole Whitebeard's Devil Fruit and decimated his crew. Hachinosu is a pirate stronghold unlike any other. Buggy the Clown is the Emperor no one expected. However, he's a widly dangerous threat to the World Government. The sheer number of pirates that follow Buggy and the other former Warlords that work with him make Buggy a force to be reckoned with. Cross Guild is strange compared to the other Emperor crews, but they have a surprising amount of influence and undeniable power.

Of the current Emperor crews, the Cross Guild is the most focused on money and directly affecting the...

One Piece Mihawk Cosplay Makes the Villain Look More Epic Than Ever
Image
SirJuliusCosplay flawlessly captures Dracule Mihawk's iconic look. Attention to detail in the costume and prop design is impressive. The cosplay fosters a new appreciation for the One Piece character.

Dracule Mihawk has become one of the most beloved One Piece antagonists, and SirJuliusCosplay makes the villian look more epic than ever. Not only is his resume stacked with impressive titles such as Former Warlord of the Sea and The Worlds Strongest Swordsman, but he has served as Roronoa Zoros arch-nemesis as he seeks to claim his throne as the greatest swordsman. Furthermore, Mihawks character design is iconic, combining the instantly recognizable styles of a pirate and a Spanish swordsman.

Mihawk is the perfect One Piece villain to bring to life, but also one of the hardest, from his intricately detailed open coat to his oversized golden sword, which heavily resembles the yellow crucifix that dangles from his neck. However, despite...

One Piece: The Seven Warlords Of The Sea, Explained
Image
The Marines of One Piece had to adapt to the changing world and the rise of new pirates in order to maintain their power. The Seven Warlords of the Sea were pardoned for their crimes and granted protection by the World Government in exchange for performing tasks and obeying summons. The Warlord system was eventually dissolved due to the actions of some Warlords, leading to the former Warlords becoming targets of the powerful Navy and creating new enemies for the World Government.

After Gold Roger's execution and the onset of the Great Pirate Era, swarms of new pirates cropped up everywhere. The Marines of One Piece were responsible for driving back those pirates no small feat, given how many there are. The world was changing, and the Marines had to change with it if they were going to maintain power. Meanwhile, the Four Emperors of the New World were...

10 Most Anticipated Anime Rematches
Image
The anime medium is popular for many reasons, but there's no denying that its spectacular fight scenes and high emotional stakes have played a role in its rise to prominence. Many of the most beloved anime in the world feature combat on a consistent basis, and as various genres have evidenced, nothing drives a series forward like the potential for a long-awaited rematch.

An iconic anime battle might not receive a rematch for various reasons, such as time constraints within the plot or a shift in the trajectory of the characters. However, some rematches absolutely must take place as they have far too much potential for their narratives to ignore. Memorable clashes between Dragon Ball Super's Goku and Beerus, as well as Jujutsu Kaisen's Satoru Gojo and Ryomen Sukuna, immediately set the stage for their respective series, but perhaps even more importantly, they set up potential rematches that...

One Piece Villains Luffy Should've Fought
Image
The famed shonen adventure One Piece pitted protagonist Monkey D. Luffy against a fantastic array of villains and other antagonists from one story arc to another. First, Luffy scored early victories against detestable villains like Arlong the Fish-Man and Sir Crocodile. Soon, Luffy started battling the Emperors and their elite minions, from Sweets General Charlotte Katakuri to Kaido. However, there were some major foes Luffy never fought. Unfortunately, it's too late for Luffy to fight them now.

One Piece fans can always daydream about hypothetical battles between Luffy and those villains, but Luffy is part of a crew, and his crewmates deserve a turn to fight the series' coolest villains, too. Luffy's friends, most of all the mighty Roronoa Zoro and Sanji Vinsmoke, helped take powerful foes down so Luffy could focus on the end boss. That leaves a handful of noteworthy foes Luffy never fought. In some cases, he briefly clashed against these villains.
