Jane, 43, and Hasenmueller were found dead in their Moore, Oklahoma home in late January. Local police discovered their bodies while conducting a wellness check after the couple had not been heard from for several days.
A drug overdose was suspected as the cause of Jane’s death, but both cases remained under investigation.
Jane, born Cindy Taylor, rose to prominence in the adult film industry in 2003. She appeared in numerous adult productions before transitioning to mainstream media, with roles in Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding, Starsky and Hutch and the HBO series Entourage.

The episode of Best Horror Movie You Never Saw covering 2001 Maniacs was Written by Cody Hamman, Narrated by Kier Gomes, Edited by Juan Jimenez, Produced by John Fallon and Tyler Nichols, and Executive Produced by Berge Garabedian.
Robert Englund doing a demented Colonel Sanders impression. Lin Shaye putting on a deadly song and dance routine. Enough politically incorrect elements to offend pretty much everybody. Buckets of gore. Gratuitous nudity. And a cameo appearance by Eli Roth, playing his Cabin Fever character. Put all of this together and you get 2001 Maniacs (watch it Here). The director calls it a “splatstick” movie. Splatter combined with slapstick comedy. We call it The Best Horror Movie You Never Saw.
Herschell Gordon Lewis was a classy guy, but he specialized in making movies that were not classy. His aim was to give the grindhouse and drive-in crowds the things Hollywood wasn’t giving them. Noting...

"She's only going to take you further into hell!" Freestyle Dm has released an official Us trailer for an indie drama titled Bardo Blues, which first premiered at festivals back in 2017 and is just now getting a VOD release. Bardo Blues is directed by actress / producer Marcia Kimpton, who also co-stars in the film, co-wrote the screenplay, and produced it (and did all her own makeup - according to Trivia on IMDb). The story follows a mentally ill young man attempting to come to grips with his haunting past (about the mother that abandoned him) by seeking solace and understanding in the unfamiliar Eastern culture of Thailand. It weaves "spiritual awakenings and soulful struggles", and stars Stephen McClintic, Gina Haining, Brian Gross, Natalie Denise Sperl, Tilt Tyree, and Micah Kaneko, plus Kimpton. This does not look good. Here's the official Us trailer (+ poster) for Kimpton & Haining & McAleece's Bardo Blues, from YouTube: Set in Thailand,...

Freestyle Digital Media has acquired domestic rights to Bardo Blues, the feature film debut of director Marcia Klimpton. The pic stars Stephen McClintic and is based on the semi-autobiographical story of Kimpton’s mentally ill brother, and Freestyle will bow the pic in theaters and on digital May 3 during Mental Illness Awareness Month. Set in Thailand, the film follows Jack (McClintic) as he struggles to learn the truth about the mother that abandoned him and his own reason for existing. Brian Gross and Natalie Sperl also star. “Bardo Blues will have audiences question their journey through life even with some of the greatest obstacles, such as mental illness,” said Kimpton, the heir to Bill Kimpton, founder of Kimpton hotels; she is donating 10% percent of revenue on the film and and upcoming book to brain illness research. The deal was negotiated by Freestyle Digital Media and Kimpton.

Before she became known as the porn star who sued the President of the United States, Stormy Daniels was a highly-respected and award-winning adult film actress, writer and director, with an exclusive contract at one of the industry’s top companies. But since the Wall Street Journal first reported that President Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen, allegedly paid Daniels $130,000 to keep her from talking about an affair with the president before he took office, she’s become a cause célèbre in the porn world. “We’ve never had anything like this,” Brian Gross, a long-time publicist who has represented some of the biggest names in erotica,...

The original Star Trek television show aired its last episode over 46 years ago on June 3, 1969. But thanks to a lifelong fan named James Cawley, the Trek nostalgia lives on in a fan-created and now fan-funded digital series called Star Trek: New Voyages, a long-term project which began back in April 2003.
Cawley, who serves as New Voyages executive producer, grew up watching Star Trek syndicated re-runs and told The New York Times he knew the original show lines “forward and backward.” Cawley started New Voyages (also known as Star Trek: Phase II) as a continuation of the original series. The web version centers around the crew of the starship Enterprise in the final year of its five-year assigned mission. Soon after Cawley launched his New Voyages project, Jack Marshall joined as a producer and suggested the show be made into a free-to-view web series, to avoid legal conflicts with Star Trek franchise owner CBS.

Uh oh. Those cheap toxic waste disposal guys left barrels of their nasty goo in a local cave and it looks like a gila monster has consumed it somehow, turning it into a very large gila monster. The locals start to notice strange things are happening. People getting hurt, bizarre stories get around, and livestock go missing. Hot rod racer and all-round perfect human, Chase (Brian Gross) helps the local Sheriff (Terence Knox) to put all the clues together. But Chase has a theory about what it might be. A big lizard thing. Luckily, there's an expert (just after the half-way mark) who tells them what they're facing and a local crank who has an arsenal for when the Commies invade.

Indie legend and Corman go-to-guy Jim (Chopping Mall, Return Of The Swamp Thing) Wynorski is helming a remake of the notorious 1959 Ray Kellogg creature feature The Giant Gila Monster. Famous Monsters sat down with Jim to chat about the project and share some production pics. The film, aiming for SyFy release in 2012, is currently shooting in Franklin, Indiana, just outside Indianapolis.
Despite wearing it’s meager budget on it’s sleeve, the original Gila made an impression on Wynorski that endured as he made his way in Hollywood. “I saw it on TV when I was a kid, and even then I understood it was a cheaply made movie,” shares the director. “It didn’t have a big budget, but it had a cool premise with the hot rods and rock n’ roll. When the film fell into public domain, it was always in the back of my mind to...

[With I Was A Teenage Werebear playing film festivals and Chillerama set to debut later this year, Tim Sullivan writes up the first of two parts, regarding his experiences bringing this unique film to life! --Dqm]
As I write this, I am sitting in my hotel room in Honolulu, one day before the world premiere of my Chillerama segment, I Was a Teenage Werebear at the Rainbow Film Fest.. It’s been a long journey to get to this point. I am grateful to so many who supported my journey, and even more grateful to those who did not, for they only strengthened my fortitude to be true to myself, and to my artistic vision. Hawaii will be followed by a 3 month tour on the Lgbt film circuit, before Werebears joins its companion films as part of Chillerama late summer/early fall. (I cannot Wait to tell you what me, Adam Rifkin, Joe Lynch and Adam Green got planned for That!!!!)
With the ocean breeze wafting through the balcony windows, I find myself in a reflective mode. For those who don’t already know it, let me just spell it out.

Woe is the life of an Albyite.
We're past the halfway point of the final season of "Big Love," and the self-appointed prophet of Juniper Creek is really cracking down on his disciples.
This does not sit well with sister Nicki (Chloë Sevigny), who goes down to the compound to talk some sense into her mother Adaleen (Mary Kay Place) in the Feb. 27 episode, "Til Death Do Us Part."
Pushing that ominous title out of brains for just a moment, we have an exclusive clip from HBO, in which Adaleen illustrates how far off the deep end she's really gone.
Spoiler alert. It includes what will likely be our favorite piece of dialogue of the night: "Your brother had cell phones banished. The children discovered something called 'sexting.'"
Adaleen, we even love you when you're crazy.

New York -- If the new "Date Night" DVD had sold only 25,000 copies, there would have been hell to pay for studio executives. But for Steven Hirsch -- or anyone else in the adult entertainment business, for that matter -- that figure represents a blockbuster.
