Bloody Disgusting wants you to celebrate The Texas Chain Saw Massacre‘s 50th anniversary with the original cast and crew!

The Cabot in Beverly, Ma is screening Tobe Hooper’s 1974 horror masterpiece on October 18 with William Vail (Kirk), John Dugan (Grandpa), Edwin Neal (The Hitchhiker), Ed Guinn (The Truck Driver), and Daniel Pearl (cinematographer) in attendance.

We’re giving away a pair of passes to the special event. Fill out this form to be entered to win. One winner will be drawn and notified in a week.

Tickets are on sale now starting at $24.25. VIP packages – including a photo op, a pre-signed poster, and prime seating – are available for $84.

The screening is presented by Shadows of Salem Horror & Paranormal Convention, at which the Texas Chain Saw Massacre alumni will be guests in Salem, Ma on October 19-20.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Gets New Trailer for 50th Anniversary Re-Release

Five decades after terrifying filmgoers for the first time, Leatherface is heading back to the big screen. In honor of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2024, the iconic horror film is getting a special re-release for the spooky holiday season.

In October, a 4K restoration of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre previously supervised by late director Tobe Hooper will be screening in theaters. It will mark a great opportunity for horror fans who may have never seen the film on a big screen before to experience the influential movie in an all-new way. For the first time in 50 years, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre has also been given an all-new trailer to promote the re-release. The video, along with a new poster made for the re-release, can be seen below.

82 feature films will screen during the 2024 Beyond Fest, taking place September 25 through October 9 in Los Angeles. Among the offerings will be the West Coast premieres of Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist, Sean Baker’s Anora, Ali Abbasi’s The Apprentice, Marielle Heller’s Nightbitch, and Damien Leone’s Terrifier 3.

The 12th edition of the festival kicks off with the world premiere of Salem’s Lot, directed by Gary Dauberman and based on Stephen King’s bestselling novel. Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s Cloud is this year’s closing night film. Plus, the genre festival hosts a reunion of Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock, and director Jan de Bont in honor of the 30th anniversary of Speed.

The first of its kind immersive fan experience celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the original and the films entire legacy at Midwest Gore Fest on June 21 – 22, 2024.

Allen Danziger “Jerry”, William Vail “Kirk”, Ed Guinn “Truck Driver”, and John Dugan “Grandpa” from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) will be in attendance.

The TCM universe will also be represented by Bob Elmore “Leatherface” from TCM2″ and Andrew Bryniarski “Leatherface” from the 2003 remake and TCM The Beginning. Trick or Treat Studios will host costume photo ops from both Leatherfaces.

Mick Strawn and Thomas L Bellisimo will be appearing representing Leatherface the 3rd installment of Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Gun Interactive will be at the show demoing The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Video Game with special guest, Damian Maffei “Johnny” from the game. Keith Burgess, Akuma from Street Fighter will host the gaming event.

Representing the TCM comic world is Mort Castle, acclaimed and award-winning horror writer who wrote the 1991 Leatherface comic.
