Bryan Cranston Took Home $3.6 Million For Breaking Bad Season 5: But Season 1’s Budget Per Episode Was Shockingly Low!
Image
Breaking Bad Paid Bryan Cranston $3.6 Million In Season 5(Photo Credit –Instagram)

Over the years, the fandom of Breaking Bad has only grown. Starring Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul in the leads, the storyline of the series revolves around Walter White, a genius chemistry teacher who finds out he’s terminally ill and starts making meth to secure a better financial future for his family with Jesse Pinkman. While Bryan can be seen as White, Aaron played Pinkman in the television show.

Their onscreen camaraderie still gets appreciated by the fans. This show kind of changed both of their careers in a bigger perspective. Breaking Bad also stars Anna Gunn, Dean Norris, and others in important supporting roles. While the unique plot and the twists and turns of every season were enough to keep us on the edge of our seats, do you know with what budget it began?

10 Western TV Shows Better Than Yellowstone to Watch Now
Image
So Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone has finally ridden off into the sunset. Kevin Costner’s John Dutton III, all gravel-voiced grit and rancher gravitas, left behind more than just a power vacuum in Montana. He left a void in our streaming queues and our hearts. And no, a dozen Sheridan spin-offs won’t quite cut it. Because if you’re aching for something that hits just as hard, or even harder, in the Western genre, you’re in for a treat.

Some of these shows are classic dusty-saddle epics; others throw lasso-sized curveballs with sci-fi twists, feminist vengeance, or steely-eyed detectives. But they all have one thing in common: they echo that thunderous energy Yellowstone fans crave.

From Robert Duvall’s swagger in Lonesome Dove to Timothy Olyphant’s lawman cool in Justified, to the almost poetic lawlessness of Deadwood, each series here offers something Yellowstone touched on but never fully mastered.

Image
There are spoilers ahead for Squid Game season 3.Squid Game star addresses his character facing vitriol following the shocking season 3 twist. Having first premiered in 2021, the show excelled by featuring a complicated series of children's games that ended in the death of competitors. As season 1 winner Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) returned to the games in seasons 2 and 3, an all-new Squid Game cast joined the series.

K-pop star Yim Si-Wan, who played Player 333 (Myung-gi), was one of those new cast members. He portrayed a crypto-trader with insatiable greed, who was forced to accept that his pregnant ex-girlfriend had also joined the games. Tragically, in the Squid Game season 3 ending, Myung-gi attempted to kill his own child to win 45.6 billion won.

‘The Silence Game’ Adds Santiago Segura, Gabrielle Byndloss, Chris Webster, & Emily Rose to Cast [Exclusive]
John Rosman
Four fresh faces have joined the cast of dark psychological thriller The Silence Game, from New Life writer/director John Rosman and producer T. Justin Ross.

Santiago Segura, Gabrielle Byndloss, Chris Webster, and Emily Rose have joined Tony Cavalero (“The Righteous Gemstones”), Sarah Yarkin (Texas Chainsaw Massacre), and Nicholas Cirillo (Black Mirror) in the cast of The Silence Game.

It follows a disillusioned young man who, after following a mysterious woman into a camp of outsiders, falls under the influence of a charismatic leader preaching virtue through The Silence Game, an unnerving game with straightforward but terrifying rules.

Rosman writes and directs.

The director’s feature debut, New Life, became a film festival darling in 2023, earning critical acclaim for its fresh take on the thriller genre. The film was acquired by Brainstorm Media and is currently streaming on Hulu. I wrote in my New Life review that “Rosman’s assured debut deftly blends genres,...

Breaking Bad: What Happened To Skyler White After Walter’s Death? Here’s What We Know
Image
Skyler White’s Life After Walter White’s Death(Photo Credit –Facebook)

Breaking Bad may have ended in 2013, but one thread continues to tug at viewers even today and that is the uncertain fate of Skyler White. Skyler, played with remarkable grit by Anna Gunn, was the moral center, then the reluctant accomplice and finally the battle-hardened survivor in Walter White’s dark saga.

Yet after the series closed its final chapter and even with spin-offs like El Camino and Better Call Saul, she remained absent, but her silence was louder than any line of dialogue.

Skyler White’s Final Appearance in Breaking Bad

Skyler stood firm through Walt’s cancer diagnosis, his lies, and his transformation into a meth empire overlord throughout the five seasons of Breaking Bad. She didn’t start as a co-conspirator, but with time she evolved as one by laundering money through the car wash,...

"She's Very Aware of Her Own Power": 'Yellowjackets' Season 3 Star Confirms Her Character Going Bad Was the Plan From the Start
Image
Shauna Shipman, played by Melanie Lynskey as an adult, had one of the most aggressive turns in Yellowjackets Season 3. But according to the two actors who played her, that had always been in the works. Lynskey and Sophie Nélisse, who plays the character as a teenager, had always been in agreement on Shauna’s character. In a conversation with Variety, Lynskey explained that though she may have seemed like a character on the sidelines, her potential for darkness had always been there from the moment she started discussing the part with her fellow Shauna steward, Nélisse.

“We both were very sure about the fact that she’s comfortable putting herself in these roles as the housewife and the best friend, and this ‘don’t look at me too much’ mentality. But when it comes down to it, she’s very aware of her own power in a way that almost frightens her.

The Shrinking Actor Who Played Two Wildly Different Roles On Seinfeld
Image
"Shrinking" star Christa Miller, who plays rock-collecting empty nester Liz on the brilliant Apple TV+ series, can portray an incredibly diverse range of women. Even just as Liz, the next-door neighbor to Jason Segel's grieving therapist character Jimmy, she shows her ability to be truly complex, balancing maternal warmth and venomous vitriol all within herself in a single scene. But long before she played the astonishingly great Liz or even snark queen Jordan on "Scrubs," Miller played two wildly different roles on the hit NBC sitcom "Seinfeld." What's even funnier is that both characters interacted almost entirely with Jason Alexander's character George Constanza, first as his potential employer, whom he ends up offending in a major way, and then later as his girlfriend, though it doesn't last long.

Miller is amazing when she's playing someone sweet and even more incredible when she's emotionally eviscerating someone with just a...

The Breaking Bad Scene That Made Bryan Cranston Break Down In Tears
Image
What's the saddest moment in all of "Breaking Bad"? Some would say it's when Walt (Bryan Cranston) steals his infant daughter Holly away from his wife Skyler (Anna Gunn) in their big fight in "Ozymandias." Or maybe it's the follow-up episode where Walt wastes away alone in rural New Hampshire, dying from his returned cancer and struggling with all the damage he's caused to his family. (You can read our detailed interview with the showrunners and writers about how they cooked up the final season of "Breaking Bad" right here.)

But I'd argue that the show's saddest moment was the intense death of poor Jane (Krysten Ritter), a woman who seemed really cool before she relapsed, but then started spiraling hard along with Jesse (Aaron Paul). Jane often gets a lot of flak from fans for introducing Jesse to heroin or for blackmailing Walt, but she never would've done those...

5 Best TV Shows Like Netflix's Adolescence
Image
If you've been hearing a lot about the new Netflix original series "Adolescence" recently, I'm not surprised. This dark, troubling, and gripping story of a young boy named Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper) who's accused of a grievous crime features four episodes — all of which are shot in a single take — making this limited series a technical marvel by any standard. /Film's own Chris Evangelista declared, upon its release, that "Adolescence" might just be the best original Netflix series in the entire history of the streaming service, and frankly, I'm not inclined to argue with him. Across those four episodes, "Adolescence" explores Jamie's disturbed psyche and, stunningly, makes a huge reveal right at the start: at the end of the very first episode, we see video proof of Jamie murdering a young girl from his class.

Thanks to this, the series is able to explore the motivations behind Jamie's brutal attack,...

'Breaking Bad's "Worst" Episode May Surprise You
Image
Widely considered to be one of the greatest shows to ever grace the small screen, Breaking Bad has undoubtedly cemented itself as a nearly flawless series. It premiered on AMC in January 2008 to generally positive reviews. However, it wasn’t until the show’s following seasons that critics really began to praise the series. As one of the most critically acclaimed shows of all time, it’s no wonder the series won numerous awards over its five-season run. With 16 Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, two Peabody Awards, and many others, Breaking Bad is undoubtedly a phenomenal series.

Set in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the show follows a high school chemistry teacher named Walter White (Bryan Cranston). In the wake of a devastating stage-three lung cancer diagnosis, Walter seeks out a former student, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), to help him produce and distribute methamphetamine. With his wife, Skyler (Anna Gunn), pregnant with their second child,...

‘Sugar’: Jin Ha, Laura Donnelly & Tony Dalton Join Apple Series For Season 2
Image
Exclusive: Sugar, starring and executive produced by Colin Farrell, has added three new series regulars for next season: Jin Ha, Laura Donnelly, Tony Dalton

Ha is one of the stars of Apple TV+’s historical drama Pachinko, which is still on the bubble, awaiting word on a Season 3 renewal. His casting in Sugar would not impact Pachinko; he would be able to do both.

I hear Ha will be playing a boxer who frequently gets caught up with the wrong crowds. Donnelly is believed to be playing a woman who is immune to Sugar’s (Farrell) charms; Dalton would play a Lieutenant in the LA County Sheriff’s Department.

Created by Mark Protosevich, Sugar is a contemporary, unique take on one of the most popular and significant genres in literary, motion picture, and television history: the private detective story.

Who Did Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston & Anna Gunn Play On Seinfeld?
Image
A fun thing about old sitcoms is that you'll often watch it and casually stumble across an actor who's now probably too famous to play such a minor role. Long before he played the Dean on "Community," for instance, Jim Rash was freaking out about a plane's "left phalange" in the "Friends" finale. Before Joseph Gordon-Levitt became a major movie star in the late 2000s, he was on "That '70s Show" making the moves on Eric Foreman. If you're looking for the movie stars of tomorrow, you should first look at the minor sitcom roles of today.

"Seinfeld" was no exception. Jerry, Elaine and George were always dating someone new, which means there was a revolving door of guest stars who'd later become some of the most famous people on TV. This included a lot of "Breaking Bad" stars, like Bob Odenkirk (Aka Saul Goodman) as Elaine's not-yet-doctor boyfriend in...

10 Great Shows With Insufferable Characters
Image
TV shows tend to be nothing without their characters. They range from good, bad, and everything in between. A character’s choices usually drive the narrative, or at least provide some material for other characters to make fun of.

It’s not just other characters that poke fun at people on screen, as the audience gets free rein in deciding whether a character is worth liking or hating. The audience can love a character so much that spinoffs get created for them, or their actor receives more acclaim. But, a great show often features a character the audience simply can’t stand. Whether they’re a serial killer or just plain annoying, there are plenty of characters that are so insufferable, they can make a fan hesitate to watch a beloved show again.

Vince Gilligan: My “General lack of confidence” Is What Catapulted Breaking Bad To Become Such a Legendary Success
Image
Breaking Bad took the entire crime drama genre by storm when it was released in 2008. It showcased how circumstances can turn a high school teacher into a drug kingpin. And with actor Bryan Cranston leading the way as Walter White, it truly became a go-to show for millions. Much of this applause also goes to creator Vince Gilligan, who was the true mastermind behind the series.

While he is often praised for his sharp storytelling and brilliance, he himself admitted that it was indeed self-doubt that played a very important role in the show’s success.

Vince Gilligan Really F**ked up by Forgetting an Overhated Breaking Bad Character That Should’ve Made It to Better Call Saul

Breaking Bad has never failed to deliver when it comes to depicting the fragilities of human desires and the fickle nature of relationships. The AMC crime drama remains one of the best shows to ever air on television while the brutal and revolutionary arc helped launch a second Golden Age of television storytelling.

Breaking Bad [Credit: AMC]

A major part of the credit goes, of course, to the series creator and showrunner, Vince Gilligan. The sheer stroke of genius that helped him map out the subversive plot of Breaking Bad made him an immortal figure in pop culture history, right alongside Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, and Bob Odenkirk.

However, one character deserves just as much a seat at the table as one of the boys who made Breaking Bad into such a legacy.

Vince Gilligan: “I felt like a kindred spirit with Walter White” On The Real Origin of Breaking Bad That Started With a Mid-Life Crisis
Image
Little did Vince Gilligan know that his mid-life crisis as a screenwriter without a job would lead to the creation of one of the best TV shows of all time. The writer conceived of Breaking Bad reportedly while discussing with a colleague possible jobs to jump to after their time as down-on-their-luck screenwriters.

The show focuses on Walter White, a high-school chemistry teacher who uses his genius to cook pure crystal meth to earn enough money to leave his family after he is diagnosed with cancer. As the show progresses, Walter becomes increasingly evil and sees him fall from being a devoted husband and father to a man looking for his next fix of adrenaline.

Why Breaking Bad's Creator Doesn't Want To Be Remembered For Walter White
Image
"Breaking Bad" creator Vince Gilligan was this year's recipient of the Writers Guild of America's Paddy Chayefsky Laurel Award for Television Writing Achievement — an annual lifetime achievement award that honors the best of the best in television writing.

In his acceptance speech (reported on by Variety), Gilligan shared some mixed thoughts on the legacy of his most famous work so far. Citing the prevalence of bad guys in the current political landscape, he feels it's time to take a break from antihero protagonists like his own teacher-turned-meth cook lead, Walter "Heisenberg" White (brilliantly played by Bryan Cranston). Gilligan explained:

"Walter White is one of the all time great bad guys. But all things being equal, I think I'd rather be celebrated for creating someone a bit more inspiring. In 2025 it's time to say that out loud, because we are living in an era where bad guys, the real life kind,...

“I really liked The Wolf of Wall Street… But not seeing women”: Skyler White Star Anna Gunn’s First Post-breaking Bad Movie Shouldn’t Have Failed the Way It Did
Image
Anna Gunn went from playing the unforgettable Skyler White in Breaking Bad to a film that barely made a ripple — when it should’ve made waves. Her first post-Breaking Bad movie had all the makings of a hit: a female-driven Wall Street drama tackling power, ambition, and corruption.

Breaking Bad Creator's Next Show Starring Better Call Saul Fan Favorite Gets an Exciting Update
Image
New details have been revealed for the next TV show from Vince Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad. While the title and full plot details have yet to be divulged, Gilligan and the show's star — Better Call Saul fan favorite Rhea Seehorn — are teasing a psychological sci-fi tone that's reminiscent of classic movies like E.T.

The two reunited when Seehorn presented Gilligan with the WGA West's Paddy Chayefsky Laurel Award for Television Writing Achievement at the WGA Awards on Saturday. Per Deadline, Seehorn spoke at the event about her collaborations with Gilligan, noting, "I can't say enough lovely things about him." Gilligan clarified that the new show they're working on together was written specifically for Seehorn following her work as Kim Wexler on Better Call Saul, with the TV writer stating, "I created this new show for her." Because the series is not in any way connected to the Breaking Bad universe,...

I Was Today Years Old When I Found Out Bryan Cranston Filmed a Breaking Bad “Alternate Ending” With Malcolm in the Middle Co-Star Jane Kaczmarek
Image
Bryan Cranston’s role as Walter White in Breaking Bad was so perfect that it almost touched the likes of iconic castings such as Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark and Daniel Craig as James Bond. Despite his relatively minor reputation in the peripheries of the television industry, it was a calling that Cranston was destined to serve in Breaking Bad and leave the series behind as his legacy.

It is pointless to deny the magnitude of Breaking Bad as the series was elemental in launching the Second Golden Age of television alongside Mad Men. The AMC crime drama, after being picked up by Netflix, ascended into a modern-day classic whose existence would forever be engraved in pop culture history.

And yet, the network executives were a good sport about filming an alternate ending for Breaking Bad that completely disregarded and rebuffed the entire series.

“We were constantly testing the audience”: Elon Musk’s Massive Cult Isn’t Surprising When ‘Breaking Bad’ Proved How Dumb Fans Truly Were

Elon Musk is one of the most praiseworthy as well as controversial individuals in the industry, depending on the person judging him. While he does have a lot of people call him out over his infamous actions and statements, he also has a massive cult that just doesn’t seem to be questioning his actions and jumps to his defense every time he gets scrutinized.

This was evident from how fans were willing to take the side of the lead character down until the very end – even when they knew he wasn’t always right – just because he established himself early on in the series.

"He's Just Gonna Break Bad?": We Need To Talk More About This Underrated Breaking Bad Scene From 17 Years Ago

An important scene from the very first episode of Breaking Bad references the show's title and reveals a lot about Walter White's character. “It was fascinating”: Even Bryan Cranston Was Perplexed by the Most Toxic Part of ‘Breaking Bad’ That Proved Our Inherent Misogyny
Image
Ever wonder how a show that starts with a struggling high school teacher boiling meth in his Rv ends up becoming an undeniable cultural juggernaut? Breaking Bad had all the elements for an overnight disaster—nobody really expected it to last. Yet, it defied the odds and shaped the television landscape, turning from an underdog to an iconic classic.

However, while the show skillfully deconstructed the idea of morality, it also mirrored something a lot darker about society’s prejudices—specifically, how we view women. As Bryan Cranston, who played the morally bankrupt Walter White, himself admitted, the reactions to one of the show’s most important female characters left him scratching his head.

Image
Clint Eastwood's controversial bio-drama starring Tom Hanks has a new streaming home. Sully is now available on HBO's Max.

Sully was released in 2016, with Eastwood directing and Todd Komarnicki writing the film's script, based on Chelsey "Sully" Sullenberger's 2009 autobiography. Tom Hanks stars in the titular role and is joined by Aaron Eckhart, Laura Linney, Anna Gunn, Autumn Reeser, Holt McCallany and Jamey Sheridan. Sully's story follows Hanks's character during the 2009 emergency landing of US Airways Flight 1549 on the Hudson River. Iconic Breaking Bad House Goes Up for Sale (But You'll Need Heisenberg Money to Afford It)
Image
The famous Albuquerque home that was used to represent Walter White's house in Breaking Bad is now up for sale. Potential buyers should be forewarned, however, that owning the home will come with a risk of getting pizzas thrown onto the roof.

Per Kob 4 in New Mexico, the Breaking Bad house has hit the market more than a decade after the original series ended its run. The house was made famous when it was used as the home for the White family in the show, but the owners hadn't foreseen just how iconic it would become when they first agreed to let the TV film there. At first, the family members living there welcomed fans who stopped by to take pictures at the house, but as the popularity of Breaking Bad grew, it became excessive.

Fans once hated Breaking Bad’s Skyler White like she’d personally canceled their Netflix subscriptions, but here’s the kicker — they’ve crowned Yellowstone’s Beth Dutton, the literal queen of chaos, despite her being a walking Molotov cocktail. Let’s be real: Skyler, with her morality and logic, wouldn’t have come within a mile of Beth, hazmat suit or not.

Yet somehow, we rallied behind Beth’s fire-breathing destruction while slamming Skyler for protecting her family. The double standard? Ironic. Maybe the real plot twist isn’t in TV dramas but in us fans picking favorites like it’s some twisted personality quiz.

Breaking Bad’s Real Villain Was Not Gustavo Fring and Poll Reveals Fans Hate Him Way More Than Skyler White
Image
While Breaking Bad has been an amalgamation of several remarkable things, the one aspect that stood out in Vince Gilligan’s show is his ability to cultivate iconic characters that fans gravitate towards, even years later. But in his attempt to carve out a unique world filled with drama, action, lies, and drugs, Gilligan also produced some truly unlikable characters.

A still from Breaking Bad | image: AMC

Atop the list of Breaking Bad‘s real villains was Walter White’s wife Skyler, who had a lot to own up to after breaking her own ethical code. But surprisingly, while Anna Gunn’s character was truly detestable, fans somehow hated another character more than her. Well, it’s none other than Giancarlo Esposito’s Gustavo Fring, who had his way of getting onto the audience’s nerves, to topple Skyler as the most hated character in the show.

Image
Sons of Anarchy features many characters who are both fan favorites but also irredeemable. Set in a world of crime and chaos, bad situations lead to even worse choices. Before anyone realizes, things are too far gone to be saved.

Shows with no redeemable characters have their own charm. They tend to tackle dark and forbidden topics like revenge, cannibalism and war. Many shows have irredeemable characters like Jax. They may have done one really bad thing, or they have done several over the course of the entire series. From House of the Dragon to Yellowjackets to Breaking Bad, these pitch-black and morally grey characters have caused fans to think about the damning choices they made.

Actors Who Will Always Be Remembered For One Character
Image
Your browser does not support the video tag.

Cinema has long been one of the best mediums for storytelling, with a range of dynamic and talented actors helping bring to life these stories. While all major actors turn in memorable careers that span numerous roles, some actors leave an indelible mark on a particular character. Although these actors can have other iconic characters under their belt, there's no denying that a role becomes almost synonymous with their performer.

Although Hollywood doesn't always stick the landing with some castings, others are so strong that it can be difficult to imagine anyone else in the role. This similarly applies to TV, where actors will spend years playing the same character as the two progressively blend into one person. Indeed, some characters are so inseparable from their actors that it's almost impossible to recast without angering fans or failing to live up to expectations.

Bryan Cranston might as well be considered one of the most renowned big-named in the entertainment industry today especially when it comes to TV, and a major credit for that goes to Breaking Bad. While the saga itself had an exceptional plot that had viewers constantly at the edge of their seats, the actor’s perfect portrayal of Walter White further added to its star-studdedness.

But it wasn’t like he desperately needed this job, as pieces like Malcolm in the Middle and his appearance in The X-Files had already introduced his prime skills to audiences worldwide. Nor was the paycheck the reason he decided to join it. Rather, Cranston’s real intentions behind becoming a part of this series were much more honorable: He simply wanted a change of pace.

Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston Makes Surprise Return as Walter White in Anti-Littering PSA

Heisenberg has returned with a special message for anyone thinking about littering. Bryan Cranston has appeared in a public service ad campaign as his Breaking Bad character to discourage people from littering in the state of New Mexico.

Per the NY Post, the new ads featuring Cranston were first unveiled in an arthouse movie theater in Santa Fe. The PSA is called "Breaking Bad Habits," and it features Cranston's Walter White rolling a barrel through the New Mexico desert, similar to how he'd done so in a memorable Breaking Bad scene. In the PSA, however, Walter is revealed to be collecting trash from the ground left behind by careless litterbugs. Squashing a paper cup from Los Polos Hermanos, the drug kingpin warns, "Keep litter out of my territory." As popular as it was at the time, the Breaking Bad brand has not diminished. In fact, the series has simply gotten better in the intervening years. From writing to characters to cinematography, the series about a chemistry teacher-turned-meth cook has only gotten better with age.

10 Best Female Crime Boss Characters in TV Shows, Ranked
Image
Fans of the crime and gangster genres usually have a couple of movies and shows that first come to mind. They are usually the same hits, such as Goodfellas, The Godfather, The Sopranos and Breaking Bad. Henry Hill, Michael Corleone, Tony Soprano and Walter White are iconic figures in the gangster genre.

However, there are equally iconic women characters in the genre that are worth mentioning. While some are driven to crime by the actions of their husbands, like Skyler White, others have greater ambitions or are willing to do whatever it takes to survive, like Teresa Mendoza and Polly Gray. Colin Farrell
AppleTV+ has renewed Sugar, a mystery drama starring Colin Farrell, for season 2. More on the news below.

AppleTV+ really is on top of the TV game at the moment. They’re getting ready to finally release Silo season 2 in November and they’ve found great success with shows like Slow Horses, Ted Lasso and Severance to mention a few. A lot of their success seems to come from the streaming service’s willingness to renew their shows for new seasons and allowing the characters and narratives to develop over time.

The latest TV series getting the green light for another season is Sugar, as Variety reports. The mystery drama / tech noir stars Colin Farrell as Detective John Sugar, who investigates the disappearance of a movie mogul’s granddaughter while also confronting some of his own demons.

Colin Farrell's Divisive Mind-Blower Sugar Gets a Surprise Season 2
Image
Known for having the biggest twist in any show this year, Sugar will continue to blow minds in an upcoming second season from Apple TV+. The first season followed John Sugar (Colin Farrell), a mysterious private investigator trying to figure out the disappearance of Olivia Siegel, the granddaughter of a legendary Hollywood producer. However, as the show unfolded, the gritty crime drama turned into something else entirely, bewildering many while captivating others. Clearly, Sugar did more than enough to score a renewal.

The finale of the eight-episode first season of Sugar left things open for a continuation of the series, primarily featuring Sugar taking on new cases across America. Due to its subversive nature, the neo-noir series had a very low-key debut on Apple TV+, and it honestly seemed only avid subscribers of the platform tuned in for it. It's not clear if it was a smash-hit for the streaming...

Sugar was one of the two best detective series to air in some time, and Apple TV+ has faith that the story can continue.
