[Spoiler Alert] In Heads of State’s ending, UK Prime Minister Sam Clarke and US President Will Derringer are finally able to mend their differences and lay the foundation of a newfound friendship. Throughout the film, Will held a grudge against Sam because he believed he didn’t respect him as a president and looked down upon him as a person. Sam was a graduate from Cambridge, while Will was a mere movie star who ended up going into politics. And then there was this “fish and chips” incident, highlighted all over the media, where Sam was seen dining with Will’s presidential race rival in the middle of Leicester Square.
