Hamilton has been a Chicago actor since 1987. He has acted with The Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Writers Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, Court Theatre, The Marriott Theatre and with the TimeLine Theatre Co. He is the recipient of three Joseph Jefferson Awards for excellence in acting. His TV credits include, "Chicago Justice", "The Playboy Club", "Shameless", and "Mind Games" among others.
