Designated Survivor Season 1 Episode 19 Review: Misalliance
Well, I didn't see that coming; did you?

There were plenty of surprises on Designated Survivor Season 1 Episode 19, as the hour kept the action and politics in perfect balance.

But who cares about the politics when That happened to Jason?!

Hannah was transferred from a van to a semi and then to someplace even worse. Where she's going is anyone's guess, but I'm going to venture she's headed towards Canada, the same place as President Kirkman.

My question is why Lloyd and company would throw her on a cargo ship when they could just as easily killed her? Why keep her alive? Are they going to use her as bait of some kind?

Hannah showed us once again what a badass she was when she not only convinced her guard to loosen up her chains but used the underwire part of her bra to break out of the chains. That's...

Designated Survivor Season 1 Episode 15 Review: One Hundred Days
Another one bites the dust.

The short list of known suspects responsible for the Capitol bombing dropped to zero on Designated Survivor Season 1 Episode 15 when the long sought after Mystery Woman was killed.

At least she left behind some clues, although not about who else might be involved but what other landmarks might be targeted next.

It seems that the terrorists are targeting the Statue of Liberty, Hoover Dam, and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Out of all of them, the Hoover Dam would be the most disastrous, as it would affect millions of people; dropping the Golden Gate Bridge would be horrific,  and bombing the Statue of Liberty would just be a dagger to the heart of American people after it was all done.

What's with these people?!

But the bigger question is: who are they?

We didn't get many answers as most of the hour focused on Kirkman resetting his 100-day clock,...

Grey's Anatomy Fall Finale Preview: Kevin McKidd Talks Megan's Impact on Owen/Nathan's Reigniting Bromance
Kevin McKidd at an event for Brave (2012)
Although the promos for the fall finale of Grey’s Anatomy promise “nothin’ but bombshells,” it’s a comparatively quiet development that could end up having the longest-lasting impact on the ABC drama. At last, “Owen and Nathan’s relationship is starting to thaw,” Kevin McKidd tells TVLine. “They’re not fully friends again yet, but after the episode where they were with the baby [Harriet] together and that kinda stuff, they’ve just naturally started to reignite that friendship.”

Indigestion might very well be on the Thanksgiving menu when sitcom vet Wendie Malick guest-stars on ABC’s American Housewife, as seen in these first photos.

In “The Blow-Up” (airing Tuesday at 8:30/7:30c), Katie (played by Katy Mixon) is less-than-thankful to receive a visit from her least-favorite person — her mom. “Kathryn was a Pan Am stewardess in the old days, and she just thinks she’s the bee’s knees,” the ever-ubiquitous Malick says of her self-centered matriarch. “I play a lot of those women, who are ‘missing some links.’ Kathryn...

In the ninth episode of Season 6, titled “Changelings” (and looking very ominous for Rumple and Belle), the Brit beauty will be playing the Black Fairy, TVLine has confirmed. (Her first name was spelled “Jamie” in an early version of the release, conjuring a bit of confusion.)

Murray most recently played the milky-complexioned alien Stahma Tarr on Syfy’s Defiance.

Dancing With the Stars Recap: Which Couples Earned a Spot in the Finals?
Sharna Burgess in Dancing with the Stars (2005)
Dancing With the Stars semifinals, you couldn’t have come at a better time.

In the wake of last Tuesday’s divisive presidential election, there was no form of entertainment more welcome than quasi-celebrities telling inspirational stories and dancing for a shiny trophy. Uplifting? Yes. A bit mindless? Yes. A much-needed distraction from politics? Abso-lute-ly.

It’s hard to believe that just a few weeks ago, we were watching through our fingers as Jake T. Austin stumbled through his first Dancing routine, or cringing as Rick Perry was essentially dragged around the ballroom by Emma Slater.

Now, with just a...

Love Island's Jon & Hannah about to split? Couple fall out over "dodgy" Naomi Ball incident
CouldLove Island's 'official couple' Jon Clark and Hannah Elizabeth be heading to splitsville following a "dodgy" incident with fellow islander Naomi Ball?

The seemingly loved-up pair have been together since day one and even controversially consummated their relationship in the villa.

They then announced that they were boyfriend and girlfriend to fellow contestants, with Hannah being introduced to Jon's parents via Skype after the couple won a drinking challenge last week.

But on tonight's show, Hannah explodes when she witnesses Naomi stroking Jon's hair as they both recline on bean bags by the pool. She accuses Jon of flirtatious behaviour as she shouts: "You wanna sit round flirting with other people in front of my f**king face?

"Imagine I did that with, like, Omar?"

Jon attempts to explain the situation by relaying: "She [Naomi] was laying on one of the bean bags and I [mimics tipping his head back to put on bean bag] and she started running her fingers through my hair,...

Girls Season 4 Preview: Marnie Will Continue to Sing
Zosia Mamet, Lena Dunham, Jemima Kirke, and Allison Williams in Girls (2012)
The big news from this new preview for season four of Girls: Marnie will be doing lots of singing this season. Meanwhile, the show will continue to feature an impressive amount of cameos, including Ana Gasteyer (as Shosh's mom!), Zachary Quinto, Marc Maron, and Gillian Jacobs. Will Hannah and Adam stay together? Will Jessa figure herself out? Will Marnie learn that no one wants to hear her sing? Seems like a no for the last one.

Zosia Mamet, Lena Dunham, Jemima Kirke, and Allison Williams in Girls (2012)
'Girls' season 3 review: The show works best when it follows its muse
Zosia Mamet, Lena Dunham, Jemima Kirke, and Allison Williams in Girls (2012)
After three seasons, it is clear that Girls works best when it follows its muse with a damn-the-consequences regard for convention or obligation: When it’s more like carefree and careless Jessa (Jemima Kirke) and less like pleasing, conformist Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet); when it can’t be so easily reduced — like the way I completely reduced Jessa and Shoshanna in my strained effort to embellish whatever idea I was going for there on the front half of that semicolon. It’s this quality that has given us only-about-Hannah (Lena Dunham) gems like “One Man’s Trash” and “Flo” and has...

Girls To Continue Through Season Six, If All Goes According To Plan
Girls is a hot show for HBO, maybe sometimes a little too hot. In a recent chat with students at Loyola Marymount University, series producer (and occasional writer) Judd Apatow talked about some of the show’s planned sex-scenes getting axed by HBO for being too graphic. That’s a real shame, because who knows what amazing levels of depravity the show could have reached if not for the concerns of its network. There is good news, too, though: we may very well get another three seasons of Girls after the current one.

Of the aforementioned sex scenes, Apatow said the following:

There have been things on ‘Girls’ where HBO has said to us, ‘If we put this on TV, we literally could lose our license to broadcast. Let’s just say it’s something you see in adult film. Elements of sexual intercourse. The high points of sexual intercourse.

The second-to-last episode ever of ‘Dexter’ left viewers completely stunned, but the show’s star tells HollywoodLife.com that the thrills are just getting started.

With the series finale premiering tonight, Sept. 22 at 9 p.m. Et on Showtime, what’s in store for viewers? Dexter (Michael C. Hall) himself dropped some hints to HollywoodLife.com.

Michael C. Hall Talks About The ‘Dexter’ Series Finale

'Girls' - 'It's Back': Hannah and Marnie continue their spirals
First of all, hands up, everyone who thought Hannah was pretending to have Ocd at the beginning of Sunday's (March 3) "Girls."

Although it lacked some of the usual Hannah elements -- namely, an audience to see the unique and special nature of her problem -- given what we know about her, it's not hard to imagine she was doing her eight-counts as part of an "experience" for her e-book, a la her cocaine bender earlier in the season.

Soon enough, though, we learn Hannah really is obsessive-compulsive, and the stress of her book deadline and the unmooring of her Brooklyn world -- every relationship she had in Season 1, which is only about two months ago in show time, is changed or broken -- has caused it to flare up again. (Adam, on the other hand, seems to be pulling it together, give or take a glass of sour milk. He...

Shiri Appleby on Playing Adam’s New Love Interest on Girls
Shiri Appleby
Ever since Hannah dumped Adam, he has spent most of Girls season two in various states of post-breakup mopiness. Last night, he finally got out of his funk and went on a blind date with Natalia, played by Shiri Appleby (Roswell, Life Unexpected). Natalia comes to Adam by way of her mother (Carol Kane), who meets Adam at an AA meeting and sets them up. We don’t know much about his new love interest yet, except that she works as a femme fatale decoy for a private eye and still owns a landline. What we do know is that Adam hasn’t looked this happy since, well, ever. So is this a rebound relationship, or is it the real deal? Will Hannah melt down in multiples of eight when she finally meets Natalia? We spoke to Appleby, who will be sticking around for at least the final two episodes,...

Dexter Season 8 to Represent "Tragic Turning Point," Producer Teases
With Dexter Season 7 scarcely in the books, and with Laguerta's body likely still warm, TV Guide chatted with showrunner Scott Buck to gain insight into the final season of this Showtime smash, with all eyes now focused on Dexter and his murderous step-sister.

As you might expect, that final scene "is definitely going to affect [Deb] and Dexter in a very big way," Buck teases.

For starters, will Dexter even be able to cover up for Deb, considering she used her own gun for the kill?

"He can still implement that plan," Buck said of Dexter's scheme to frame Estrada for the murder. "He might have to make a few quick changes there, but this is someone who has covered up a lot and is a forensics expert and will know how to deal with this - especially if you're the forensics expert on the scene collecting the evidence and interpreting the evidence.

[Warning: This story contains major spoilers from Sunday's season finale of Dexter. Read at your own risk.]

"Surprise, Motherf---er!"

Dexter's Season 7 finale couldn't have been more aptly titled. That's because it wasn't Dexter (Michael C. Hall) who made the most surprising move in this season's closing hour, it was Deb (Jennifer Carpenter), who definitely started off the new year on a bad note. But we'll get to that. First, let's take a look at what events landed Dexter in that fateful shipping container that has surely changed Deb's life forever.

Dexter's Michael C. Hall: Will Hannah turn Dexter in?

Lena Dunham
Watch: Trailer for the New Season of 'Girls' Finds Lena Dunham in Search of Love, Happiness or Maybe Just Awkward Sex (Video)
Lena Dunham
Lena Dunham's divisive, much-talked about and (by this writer's measure) pretty damn great HBO series "Girls" returns for a second season on Sunday, January 13 at 9pm, followed by the second season premiere of Laura Dern and Mike White's "Enlightened" at 9:30pm. We last left Hannah Horvath (Dunham) eating cake on the beach alone after her friend Jessa's (Jemima Kirke) spontaneous marriage and her own serious fight with boyfriend Adam (Adam Driver). Will Hannah patch things up with her oddball love and finally write the book that marks her as a, if not the, voice of a generation? Will her moving in with her now gay ex Elijah (Andrew Rannells) end in disaster? Will the introduction of Donald Glover provide an adequate response to those who criticized the series for its lack of diversity? Check out the trailer below... and find out.

Will Hannah And Marnie Make Up In Season 2 Of 'Girls'?
Zosia Mamet, Lena Dunham, Jemima Kirke, and Allison Williams in Girls (2012)
As the Season 2 premiere of "Girls" draws just a little bit closer, the cast is divulging a few details about what's to come.

Will Hannah (Lena Dunham) and Marnie (Allison Williams) recover from their blowout at the end of Season 1? Not according to Williams.

"It's sad not to be sitting next to her in most of my scenes this season," Williams told TheInsider.com. "But thankfully [Lena's] always there because she's the boss of the show, so she was just behind the camera most of the time."

As for Williams' relationship with her on-screen mom Rita Wilson, it doesn't exactly sound pleasant.

"It's so complicated and there's so much resentment, which is funny because I know Rita in real life and we're very close, so to act like we had this contentious relationship was really bizarre," Williams said.

Wilson was thrilled when she was asked to appear on the HBO series,...

Second Seasons Of 'Girls' & 'Enlightened' Slated For January 2013 Premiere On HBO
When you're hot, you're hot and there has been no other new show on television so far this year that has earned quite the same amount of attention as Lena Dunham's "Girls." With the first three episodes premiering at SXSW to a huge response, "Girls" hit HBO in full force in April, averaging 3.8 million viewers over that first batch of shows, leading to a quick renewal by the network. And Dunham didn't waste a single moment, going in front of cameras this summer to shoot the second season, and in less than a year, we'll have ten new episodes to enjoy. HBO has announced that season two of the Emmy nominated program will bow in January 2013, and we can't wait. Dunham's show is a sharp, funny and well observed look at how young women (and hell, people in general) stumble through love, life and work in their early 20s.

Aung San Suu Kyi biopic The Lady is underground hit in Burma
The Luc Besson film has no scheduled release in Burma, but pirated DVDs have been available for months

They move in crowds, thrusting handfuls of bills into sellers' hands before slipping their purchases stealthily into their bags. With its poor sound quality and shaky videography, this is one DVD that would not normally merit such secrecy – or popularity – on the streets of Rangoon.

But these are not normal circumstances, and this is not a normal film. The Lady, Luc Besson's long-awaited biopic of the Burmese opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi, has no scheduled release in Burma and is likely to be banned by the military-backed civilian government.

The buyers are undeterred and eager to know more about 66-year-old "Auntie Suu", as she is known here, who, after 15 years of house arrest, will contest a parliamentary seat with her opposition party National League of Democracy in April's byelections.

February 10: The Turning Point For Booth and Hannah
Booth and Hannah hit a "turning point" February 10. Make of that what you will.

According to executive producer Stephen Nathan, that date marks a “very big” turn of events for Booth and his girlfriend, a target of fan vitriol from the season premiere onward.

It's unclear if that turn of events is good or bad, but in that very same episode, fans will get to see David Boreanaz deliver one of the best performances of his career, per Nathan.

Decision Time: Seeley has some big ones coming up.

As for another much-anticipated development this spring, TV Line now confirms that the "elevator episode" airs March 3. Spoiler alert ... Booth and Brennan are stuck in one.

Think that they'll end up a couple by the end of this season? Will Hannah be killed off, or merely written off? Will Booth choose his new girlfriend in the end? Comment below.
