Nintendo may be well known for their work in the video game market, but this company does more than just make amazing games. They've also made their share of anime from time to time based on the video games their fans know and love.
Everything from Super Mario Bros. to Animal Crossing has received its own adaptation, many of which many fans have glossed over. Those fans should give Nintendo's other works a chance, especially if they are fans of those video games too. Nintendo may be a pro at making video games, but they're not half bad at making anime either.
Marth Journeys to Save His Kingdom in Fire Emblem Mystery of the Emblem Brings This Classic Prince to Life
Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem is a 1996 adventure fantasy anime based on the Super Famicom game of the same name. The adaptation consisted of two Ova episodes, each about thirty minutes long.

Shnen is one of the most popular genres in anime. It's a genre targeting boys and young men, featuring amazing fights, awesome world-building, and some of the best friendships around. While it might not seem so, friendships are huge in shnen anime. Most protagonists have a best friend they can rely on, helping to push them to new heights. Some of the best friendships in shnen aren't between the protagonist, but between two other characters who have each other's backs no matter what.
To be a good friendship in shnen, the two characters need to trust each other completely. They need to be able to rely on each other, and they also need to be able to push each other. A good friend knows their friend's limit, but also believes in them enough to help them surpass their limits too.

Diving headfirst into Kon Month, I’ll be starting off with Satoshi Kon’s very own directorial debut, Perfect Blue. An adaptation loosely based off a book of the same name written by Yoshikazu Takeuchi, Perfect Blue originally hit theaters in 1997 and was greatly received by many around the world, not just anime fans.
To this day, Perfect Blue has strong holding in the anime industry. Many people consider this movie to be Kon’s magnum opus among his many great films. I personally had not seen it and was skeptical of their opinions; even as I began watching the film I was skeptical of its greatness. However, by the end my opinion was greatly changed,...
