Has Forever Been Renewed For Season 2? (Photo Credit – Netflix)
Judy Blume’s Forever didn’t need much time to make its presence felt. The romantic drama was locked at the top of the platform’s charts in less than a week after landing on Netflix. According to MovieWeb, the show edged over You and The Four Seasons to hold the top place in Netflix’s TV chart. This kind of debut usually doesn’t go unnoticed. Netflix handed the show a swift Season 2 renewal, a rare move considering how tight-lipped the streamer usually is with early renewals.

The Blue Bloods spinoff Boston Bluehas officially found its director and executive producer for the premiere episode, according to Deadline. The production has tapped Anthony Hemingway to step into the director's chair for at least the premiere episode, as well as serve as EP. The Boston Blue spinoff of Blue Bloods was set back in February when the procedural-heavy CBS gave it a straight-to-series order. As long suspected, Boston Blue was confirmed to be a spinoff following Donny Wahlberg's detective Danny Reagan, who will find himself taking a job with the Boston Pd.
The spinoff officially establishes the Blue Bloods universe, with potential plans for further tie-in shows, meaning that Boston Blue, which will take over Blue Bloods' Friday night timeslot, has to perform and prove that there are legs to the universe, even if the whole Reagan family is no longer together. Kim Kardashian is not to be messed with in the first teaser for Ryan Murphy’s “All’s Fair.” The trailer for the upcoming Hulu original dropped ahead of Disney’s upfronts presentation on Tuesday.
“You know what a girl’s best friend is? Not diamonds. Her lawyer,” Judith Light’s character confidentially tells Glenn Close. The trailer then pans between shots of several women looking fashionable, poised and confident from the boardroom to the courtroom as the “Cell Block Tango” from “Chicago” ominously plays.
“Get mad. Get hot,” Close’s character instructs. “Get revenge.”
The video then cuts to a voiceover from Kim Kardashian’s Allura Grant as she and her colleagues toast each other and powerwalk down hallways: “It’s our own boutique. Women representing women.”
But as the clip continues, things spiral out of control. An emotional Niecy Nash appears in a hospital gown. A tear-streaked Kardashian looks on horrified.

Emmy season is upon us, and while we won’t see those nominations until July 15, the second annual Gotham Television Awards could give us a taste of what to expect from TV’s biggest night. In the mix are critically-acclaimed series such as Netflix’s “Adolescence,” Max’s “The Pitt,” AppleTV+’s “The Studio” and FX/Hulu’s “Dying for Sex,” “Say Nothing” and “English Teacher,” among several newcomers.
“Building on the success of last year’s inaugural ceremony, the Gotham Television Awards returns with new categories, expanded tributes and a larger stage to celebrate the creators and artists making their mark on today’s television landscape,” Jeffrey Sharp, executive director of the Gotham’s, said. “As the first awards show of the new television season, we are proud to bring together the industry’s most exciting new voices, celebrate breakthrough achievements and deepen our commitment to supporting the creative community.

Veteran actress Aisha Hinds made her directorial debut with 9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 11, a fantastic piece of television from beginning to end.

“I actually was not interested at all,” Hinds explained when asked about her desire to direct.
