Zoe Henry: Reality TV isn't my thing
Zoe Henry doesn't think reality TV is her ''cup of tea.'' The 'Emmerdale' star - who is known for playing lovable vet Rhona Goskirk in the soap - has admitted she's not keen on competing on a celebrity-based programme because it's not her style but, if she had to choose one, she would quite like to slip into some ballroom shoes for 'Strictly Come Dancing'. She explained: ''The obvious one [I'd lie to take part in] is 'Strictly Come Dancing' because of the dresses and the skills that you learn. But I'm not sure reality TV is my cup of tea.'' And, although...

Michelle Hardwick: Vanessa Woodfield is not a bad person
Emmerdale's Michelle Hardwick claims her character Vanessa Woodfield ''is not a bad person''. The 36-year-old actress believes the feisty blonde - who is falling for her best friend Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) - isn't intentionally trying to destroy her pal's relationship with Paddy (Dominic Brunt), but is merely being swept away by love. She told InsideSoap magazine: ''She's not a bad person! When you're falling for someone you'll do anything to be close to them. Vanessa would never want to hurt Paddy, but she's putting her feelings for Rhona first. When you fall in love things happen.'' Vanessa - who was first...

'Emmerdale' Zoe Henry: 'Vanessa arrival will cause fireworks'
Emmerdale Farm (1972)
Emmerdale star Zoe Henry has tipped new character Vanessa Woodfield to cause "fireworks" in the village. Last month, show bosses announced that actress Michelle Hardwick had been cast as Vanessa, who is an old friend of Henry's alter ego Rhona Kirk. Vanessa is a fun-loving character who will be taking up a position at the vets' practice next month, leading to clashes with Rhona's husband Paddy (Dominic Brunt). Henry told Inside Soap: "Rhona was young, free and single the last time she and Vanessa were hanging out at university. We've just started filming the scenes where Vanessa returns to her life. "They're great, because Rhona starts becoming more of a 'lad about town', as it were - while poor old Paddy is left at home literally holding the baby. "I think there'll definitely be (more)...

In an interview with What's on TV, Henry said that the difficult situation has led to her erratic behaviour. She claimed: "Rhona and Paddy have become so set on their dream, they're not thinking straight. Any common sense has left the building so Rhona's a bit armed and dangerous at the moment."
