Things are heating up at Telemundo this summer as Top Chef VIP returns with a new season and a new group of celebrity contestants wanting to reign supreme in the kitchen.

Having control of the kitchen on Telemundo’s other reality competition, La Casa de los Famosos, always provides a lot of drama and Top Chef VIP tests celebrities with sizzling challenges. The competition heats up day by day, but only one of the VIP contestants will be crowned Top Chef VIP and take the $200,000 cash prize.

Carmen Villalobos returns to host the competition, which premieres on Tuesday, July 29 at 7 p.m. Et. The reality TV competition will air weeknights and Sunday nights. All episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.

The upcoming week will mostly be marked by a plethora of reality shows with some notable expectations arriving on Apple TV+, Disney+, and Netflix. 1. ‘Photographer’ Season 1

The show will explore the work and influence of renowned photographers Campbell Addy, Cristina Mittermeier, Paul Nicklen, Muhammed Muheisen, Anand Varma, Dan Winters, and Krystle Wright across different genres of photography. ‘Photographer’ will premiere on National Geographic on Monday, March 18 at 8:00 Pm-10:00 Pm Est and if you miss an episode you can always stream it a day later on Disney+ and Hulu. The first season will consist of 6 episodes in total.

Netflix announced Tuesday that it will be premiering Ali Wong’s new comedy special, “Don Wong,” on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14.

The special is Wong’s third with Netflix, following 2016’s “Ali Wong: Baby Cobra” and “Ali Wong: Hard Knock Wife” in 2018. “Don Wong” was filmed at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in New Jersey in November 2021, and features Wong discussing her deepest fantasies, the challenges of monogamy and her feelings about single people.

The project is the latest addition to a slate of projects between Wong and Netflix, including the 2019 film “Always Be My Maybe” and the upcoming series “Beef.” Wong also voices characters on animated shows including Netflix’s “Ask the StoryBots,” “Ada Twist,” “Scientist” and the Emmy-winning adult comedy “Big Mouth.”

“Don Wong” is directed by Nahnatchka Khan, with Wong serving as executive producer alongside Ravi Nandan, Inman Young, Alli Reich and Corey Deckler for A24.

DistroTV, a free ad-supported streaming television platform, is moving into original content with the global debut of a feature film, Escándalo Secreto: En Plena Cuarentena. The comedy feature, directed and written by Jorge Cano, will bow on February 25th.

Translated as Secret Scandal: In Quarantine, the Spanish language film will debut exclusively on DistroTV Español and be available to all DistroTV audiences globally, including 17 countries in Latin America and in the US.

The Jorge Cano-helmed comedy features Danny Trejo, Alejandro Gutierrez, Ninel Conde, Lina Castrillon, Platanito, Nanis Ocha, Armando Hernandez, Lorena Herrera, Reykon, Margarita Reyes, Alexander Ospina, Valentina Lizcano, Nitzia Chama, Ricardo Hill, Isabella Santiago, and Pancho Moler. The story is based on Covid-19 times and set in Bogota, Colombia.

The film premiere is a milestone for the new, free-to-stream DistroTV Español channel bundle. It comes on the heels of DistroTV’s recent expansion of its global distribution footprint, which now includes Latin American audiences.
