The Woman in Cabin 10 is a thriller film based on the 2016 book of the same name by Ruth Ware. Paramount+ announced on Thursday morning that its Bob Marley biopic Bob Marley: One Love, starring Kingsley Ben-Adir, will begin streaming on the platform in the U.S. and Canada beginning Friday, April 12, with information as to the film’s availability in additional markets to be announced at a later date. Peaky Blinders actor Kingsley Ben-Adir dons dreadlocks and speaks in a Jamaican patois to play a reggae legend in the latest trailer for Bob Marley: One Love, which dropped Tuesday.

The biopic has Marley overcoming adversity, including a failed assassination attempt, to rise to musical fame with a message of love and unity in dangerous times. “There’s a war going on. How I can bring peace? I can’t even get peace for myself,” a fretting Marley says at one point in the trailer.

The movie, based on real events, recounts a failed attempt to murder Marley in his home in Kingston, Jamaica, which only drove the reggae legend to double down on his mission to unify a divided nation with revolutionary music.

Lupita Nyong’o has bowed out of virtual interviews for her upcoming Universal pic The 355 after testing positive for Covid, Deadline has confirmed.

While the Oscar winner didn’t make specific reference to her exit from the presser, she confirmed her positive test in a post published to Twitter on Tuesday. “I too have tested positive for Covid-19. In the latest change to the US theatrical release calendar, Universal Pictures has pushed all-female spy thriller The 355 from January 15 next year to January 14, 2022.

The film will get a wide release in the slot previously reserved for an untitled Universal event film.

The 355 was introduced to buyers by international seller FilmNation at the 2018 Cannes market, where Universal won a bidding war for US rights.

“The 355,” the female-fronted spy film starring Jessica Chastain and Lupita Nyong’o, has been pushed back a full year by Universal from January 2021 to now open on Jan. 14, 2022.

“X-Men” filmmaker Simon Kinberg directs “The 355,” which also stars Penélope Cruz, Diane Kruger, Bingbing Fan, Edgar Ramirez and Sebastian Stan. It will now take the place Universal had previously marked off for an untitled event film on the same day on the release slate.

“The 355” would not be the first film to move out of Q1 of 2021 as questions around when theaters can reopen still remain even as coronavirus cases continue to rise across the country. Universal also previously delayed the release of “Marry Me” with Jennifer Lopez from a Valentine’s Day release to instead open in May 2021.

“The 355” is about a CIA agent who joins forces with secret agents from across the globe to prevent a mercenary from using a top-secret weapon.

Amazon Studios’ espionage thriller “All the Old Knives” has added actors Jonathan Pryce and Laurence Fishburne.

This is a new thriller that comes from director Simon Kinberg, known best as a longtime producer of the X-Men franchise who made his directorial debut with last year's ill-fated Dark Phoenix. Exclusive: Amazon Studios is shifting its anticipated Eddie Redmayne-Felicity Jones pic The Aeronauts deeper into awards season, from October 25 to December 6, we can reveal.

In a potentially telling move about Amazon’s future direction, the company is also collapsing the intended theatrical window for the ballooning disaster film. Instead of a traditional theatrical release, including a previously agreed one-week Imax commitment, the film will get a short stateside theatrical release via Amazon, then will launch on Amazon Prime Video on December 20 in what we hear is a bid to maximize in-home holiday eyeballs.

We gather the significant change to the release plan was taken in concert with the film’s stars and producers. The partnership with Imax on the movie is now up in the air, however, despite key action sequences being designed with Imax viewers in mind.

Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones are reunited in the first-look image for Amazon Studios’ “The Aeronauts,” which began shooting in the U.K. this week. The two British stars previously worked together in James Marsh’s “The Theory of Everything,” for which Redmayne won the Oscar for best actor while Jones was nominated for best actress.

According to producers, the first-look image was taken with the film’s two lead performers 2,000 feet in the air. “We’re fortunate that Felicity and Eddie have the nerve to do these stunts themselves as it authenticates our entire approach,” said producer Todd Lieberman.

Long-gestating biopic Banking on Mr Toad will chart Grahame’s relationship with his wife Elspeth and young son Alastair - who was plagued by a number of health problems - and the birth of his iconic, best-selling fiction The Wind in the Willows, which he wrote while holding the position of secretary at the Bank of England.
